I took my 3 month old 2024 Santa Fe in for a TPS error. The dealership had my car for 5/12 weeks. After me following up on the status I was given a loaner that wasn’t even close to the features my car had. The dealership had my car for 5/12 weeks. After me following up on the status I was given a loaner that wasn’t even close to the features my car had. I had to follow up and ask for updates on when my car would be fixed and when I went to pick it up, they couldn’t find the paperwork it had literally 2 miles worth of fuel in it, all my setting were erased, they never discussed all that was even done. I expressed my frustration with the length of time it took for the manufacturer defect and received a response of “thanks for your patience” Just as a common courtesy for the inconvenience you’d think the dealership would or could have cleaned my car, put a little gas in it just as a way of saying sorry that took so long but nope. I would say hate terrible customer satisfaction considering I’ve been to other dealerships that wash and vacuum your vehicle each time you take it for an oil change, which is far less than having it for 5 1/2 weeks. More
Unfortunately, buying a car is the least transparent transaction we are all forced to make.
