I brought my truck in to this GMC dealership for a recall—something that should have been completely free of charge. They gave me a loaner vehicle while the work was being done, which was part of the recall—something that should have been completely free of charge. They gave me a loaner vehicle while the work was being done, which was part of the deal. Everything seemed fine until I returned the loaner. To my complete surprise, I was told I owed $1,500 because of a so-called "dent" in the back bumper. I was never shown any proof of when the damage supposedly occurred, and it felt like they were trying to pin something on me that I didn’t do. The vehicle was returned in the exact same condition I received it in, and no one walked through the car with me when I picked it up or dropped it off. This felt like a complete bait-and-switch- take in your vehicle for a recall, then get slapped with a ridiculous charge on the loaner. I’ve tried contacting management to dispute the claim, but the communication has been dismissive and unhelpful. I have paid the fee after numerous calls trying to get an understanding of the whole situation. This was extremely inconvenient, considering having other bills to pay. I was blindsided throughout this whole ordeal and feel played. I’ve lost all trust in this dealership and will never return. If you're considering using their services, especially for something that’s supposed to be “free,” proceed with extreme caution. They are not transparent, and they do not stand behind their own policies. More
