I sent an email to Tasca GMC in Palm Harbor asking for a written quote about mid Dec. 2025 on a GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate. Braid King GMS spoke on the phone on about Jan. 2nd and he told me he would not gi written quote about mid Dec. 2025 on a GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate. Braid King GMS spoke on the phone on about Jan. 2nd and he told me he would not give me a quote because I would use it against Tasca in getting prices from other dealers. They then said to get a written quote from other dealers and they would match or beat it. Would seem hypocritical to suggest I get a written quote from someone else so that Tasca could use it against them when they just refused to do the same. The response I get on any request has always been one of complete negativity telling me what they either can't do or will not do. There has never been a positive suggestion or solution to move things forward offered from them only from me the customer. GSM sent me an email on the next day with an attachment that was a build order for the same vehicle I was looking for that had the event status, estimated build date, etc. so I spoke to Christian Principe-Velez his salesperson and asked for a price and was told "no can do" as there is no vin# till event 3800 when vehicle is built. I asked what they did when a customer came in and ordered a vehicle because they are given a firm price with no vin#. We can't give you a quote till it's built but will give you an estimated cost tomorrow when the GSM is here, 01/17/26 and no estimated quote came. I called and asked why the build vehicle order could not be entered into the GM Price Protection Program as that is allowed up until its built and GM freezes the MSRP for both the customer and dealer with the customer given any incentives from GM should they occur before delivery. No risk to either the dealer or customer when changing the build order from "stock" to "retail customer" order. Salesperson asked if I could come in and talk with his GSM as this was above his ability to authorize. I set up next day meeting and upon arrival Braid King GSM started again telling me why they could not give a price until the vehicle arrived there in about 1 month. I said that I had already listened to this same story several times and only wanted a price quote { which I had requested at least 6 times during the past 3 or 4 weeks} and not hear this same story that was false again. He replied that if I was there just to argue we were done. Presenting facts is not arguing in my opinion. He took his papers and walked off to his cubicle. I never received one price, quote, or estimate or anything but negatives during the nearly month long interaction. I never was given a reason why the build order could not be changed from stock to retail. I felt as if I was the salesperson making all the positive suggestion and solutions which they rejected each time. More
