Tasca Automotive Group was founded in 1943 by Bob Tasca, Sr. In 1953 Bob opened the original Tasca Ford in Bristol, Rhode Island. Just one year later this dealership was completely destroyed by Hurricane Carol. Bob relocated and ultimately opened up the new Tasca Ford at 777 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that Bob and his team became the second largest Ford dealership in the world in the 1960's. This was also the birthplace of the Tasca Racing program and many historic muscle cars such as the Ford Cobra Jet, Tasca Street Boss, and Mystery race cars.
Bob opened Tasca Lincoln Mercury in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 1972. TLM became the highest volume Lincoln Mercury dealership in the world in 1986, and repeated again in 1987 and 1988 while also winning the Ford President's Award for outstanding customer satisfaction. This fulfilled Bob's dream of saying "None Bigger, None Better." It was also at the Seekonk store that Bob launched the innovative Pre-Trade program, pioneering the concept of short term trade cycles and leasing. He was also joined in the business by his three sons, thus fulfilling another of his dreams to build a successful family business.
70 years and three generations later the Tasca Family continues to grow. We have been blessed over the past seven decades with great customers and great employees. Stood by their warranty and went above and beyond !! From sales to service to finance, the experience was a very good one. After my daughter bought the used vehicle some mechanical items came up that nee From sales to service to finance, the experience was a very good one. After my daughter bought the used vehicle some mechanical items came up that needed attention. I notified Steve Elias who sold the vehicle to us and he told me to call Ford service and make an appointment which I did. I talked to Paul Mendence who is a service advisor and explained the issues of concern with the vehicle. He had his tech John diagnose the problems and ordered ALL needed parts including a new set of tires which I never expected. Johns trouble shooting was spot on! We brought the vehicle back today for installation of new parts and ALL issues are fixed. The ride home was smooth. This was my daughters FIRST CAR buying experience and she is very happy. We will be buying more vehicles in the near future from TASCA. We are very satisfied. Thank you to all involved with this Sale, Financing and Warranty service. My only complaint is that you are about 90 miles away from us. Well worth the trip. Mike C. More

Service is always excellent I do like the service your Quick Lane has provided for both my cars over the years. I only have one concern in that 2 hours to get a car service seems I do like the service your Quick Lane has provided for both my cars over the years. I only have one concern in that 2 hours to get a car service seems a bit lengthy. Normally, I would drop my vehicle off and pick it up later in the day. This time I did not have that option and had to wait. The service writer did tell me it was going to be 45 minutes before it was going in, but maybe it's me, taking 1 1/4 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and topping off fluids seems a stretch.
