I've witnessed this trait with Chad and his colleagues many times before, and once again when I purchased my Xterra from them recently. We had went to other places prior to look at younger models, however, the experience made me feel uncomfortable, almost as if I had to speak in Morse code or haggle to receive the best deal. Some of my other family members have bought from Taylor, so we looked at the inventory and found an older model than previously projected yet it is was in spectacular condition! Chad had helped my other family members and speaking with him and his colleagues felt familiar and comfortable, almost like speaking with old friends. Second time buyer. Twice as happy. I called to talk to Mr. Crawford. Got an appointment for the date and time I requested. We picked out a car, he explained the the deals we qualified for and we sat down to do the paperwork. We were offered refreshments as we went thru the piles of papers to be signed. The dealership took advantage of my eagerness. I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. I bought a used Wrangler off of their lot. I was told it was a clean retail purchase. In less than 7 days I I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. I bought a used Wrangler off of their lot. I was told it was a clean retail purchase. In less than 7 days I needed to replace the brake pads and fix a leaking rear tire. I couldn't do either of those until I purchased a new key to unlock the tires. Due to being in a bankruptcy I needed clearance from my trustee to purchase the vehicle. The dealership told me that they went ahead and got that clearance because my attorney was taking too long. Shame on me for taking legal advice from a car dealer, but the approval to purchase was never given. After purchasing the Jeep I shopped around to see if I could get a lower interest rate on the loan. I was told by the banks that I had paid $6,000 more than the vehicle was worth and they couldn't finance the amount of the loan. More
