After owning several Dodge Caravans, I bought my first Subaru from the Autobarn in Countryside. I needed to downsize from the Caravan, and had seen the Outback at the Auto show. Initially, I came in to the Autobarn to see how easy it would be for my 90 year old mother to get in and out of an Outback. Noelle helped us out - no pressure, just come in and try it out. I came again for a test drive, which Noelle had suggested. Again, no pressure. Noelle just wanted to know what I was looking for and checked to see whether they had what I wanted. She called the next day to let me know that the Outback I was looking for was in their incoming inventory. I returned with my mother and again made sure she could get in and out of the Outback easily. Later that day, I came back and bought the vehicle. It was a very, very pleasant experience. I have bought several new cars in my life, and this ranked way up with the easiest car buying experiences I've had. If my next car is a Subaru, I will not hesitate to return to Autobarn of Countryside. Tho I dealt with Noelle, I had occasion to speak with others there and was very happy to find such a cooperative staff. I am very happy I walked into this dealership. More

The Autobarn Subaru was a pleasure to work with. From the minute we walked through the door it was a "no pressure" situation. I was very impressed with Mario's prompt telephone follow-up and his attention to detail. The car was ready when promised with the options installed in a timely manner. The manager, Darrell Matlock, took the time to introduce himself and asked if we had any questions. We visited the lot on a Sunday to look around and Darrell happened to be there. He opened a car for us so that we could take an additional look. Mario was very easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and I would definitely recommend him to a friend. More

Of course, if you are purchasing a vehicle from a dealer, there is always the additional pressure from the finance department & management for a extended warranty. I am happy to say that Brian was very cordial even though we declined multiple times. (We understand that he was doing his job and that is where the dealer increases profit a tremendous amount) I have reviewed feedback about experiences at other dealers revolving around the finance departments- I purposely avoided those to go to Countryside Autobarn. We are glad that we did. More
I would definitely recommend The Autobarn Subaru Dealer in Countryside to anyone! My husband and I needed repairs on our 2005 Impreza. I called and spoke to Darrell to see if I could possibly qualify to buy one of my own. The service he gave me was amazing. I spoke to him several times that day, and was very happy when he told me the deal he was able to work out. When we arrived at Autobarn, Paul took great care of us. His service was also amazing. The car was already ready for us. We felt very comfortable while waiting for financing. He also gave us great details on all the features of the Forester. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable of all our questions. I also really liked the man that helped us during the financing process. My children were getting impatient, and he did everything possible to help us calm them down. I love my new Forester, and also feel very secure knowing that I can count on the people at autobarn to help us with any needs we may have in the future! More

A dealer has to be pretty sure they are offering the best deal to allow that. Noelle is very empathetic to the fact that customers need to make the best deal possible, in this economy and a customer is given all the time necessary to make a decision. Her knowledge of the vehicles is extensive and she will make recommendations for those who need a little guidance, based on their driving needs. I would highly recommend working with Noelle. Darryl Matlock, the manager, is also very accomodating and easy to deal with. From the top down, manager to car detailers and all those inbetween, even including the finance man (that's big) and he was a contractor to the dealership, you won't find another dealer like them.
