Our research was available on the Subaru website where you can build your own car, and reading articles about car buying. We bought our previous Subaru here and had a good experience as well. We also service our Subaru here with good results, and this dealership is closest to our home. Once we arrived prepared, we found our sales person cooperative with finding the car we wanted. When it came to pricing and negotiation, we found them to be transparent with their dealer cost and we were able to negotiate a fair price for both buyer and seller. Again, being prepared before you come saves a lot of time. We found the staff here friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We also found the purchase administration straight forward and willing to address questions and details. Always check their work, we did find one mistake and they correctly it promptly. Even though we were familiar with the Subaru (we had a 2016), the sales person took time to explain the features and options on the car making sure we were clear on our understanding. We left the Autobarn feeling very satisfied and happy with our purchase! More

Autobarn SUBARU is a great place to take your older Subaru. I have a 2005 Outback XT with pretty low mileage. It sits a lot, so it rusts a bit underneath and is a pain for mechanics to deal with. This car's has I have a 2005 Outback XT with pretty low mileage. It sits a lot, so it rusts a bit underneath and is a pain for mechanics to deal with. This car's has never had any issues other than routine maintenance, but this latest trip was pretty major. Leaky rocker cover gaskets, timing belt, drive belts, and a complete brake overhaul added up to some heavy dough. Emily Litz did very well to keep me informed of the status. I picked up my car after almost two weeks in the shop and drove it almost all the way home before hearing rattling and scraping noises coming from the rear. I was a little nervous about that and got it home, and sadly, sort of took it out on Sam Schwager. I didn't yell at him or anything, but I let him know I was annoyed in no uncertain terms and wish I had waited 10 minutes before calling to complain. Apologies, Sam. When I returned the next day and met with Dale Erwin, the tech that worked on the car, he was brave enough to let me drive him around so he could hear what I was hearing. Dale knew what the problem was right away. This was NOT an issue of oversight on his part. There are some rusty surfaces that interfered with the new rotor on the right rear and only a much longer drive brought them to light. In a short time, Dale worked it out and it's solved. BONUS: After the new timing belt was installed and Dale did his magic, my XT's idle is so smooth at a red light that I've been fooled into thinking the engine has died. Overall, this was a good experience on a very difficult and aged car to work on. Thank you, Dale, Emily, Sam, & Josh! More
