No attention paid to oil level - potential engine damage After I left my car to have oil leaks repaired, I discovered to my dismay that after I picked it up and was driving it home, that I had only a smidge After I left my car to have oil leaks repaired, I discovered to my dismay that after I picked it up and was driving it home, that I had only a smidgen of oil in the car. Although the dash told me to not drive the car, I was only a few blocks from Firestone and they confirmed the minimum amount of oil I had and changed the oil. I find it incredulous that having repaired oil leaks, that someone didn't check to see how much oil was left in the reservoir before the car was considered done. . More
