I can’t even begin to explain the nightmare we had at this dealership. We found a car, was told the price, agreed to it, told them we were buying a house couldn’t have credit pulled a lot and where we wa this dealership. We found a car, was told the price, agreed to it, told them we were buying a house couldn’t have credit pulled a lot and where we wanted to be. A manager came over, told him the price that we were told and all the same info. He left and came back. AFTER pulling our credit says the price is actually $10,000 more than what we were told. $10,000 more after pulling our credit. Really! We do not have bad credit apparently they just didn’t verify the price of the car. We talked to another manager and he threatened to sue me for writing a review! Would not recommended this dealership. More
BUYER BEWARE!!!Purchased a Nissan Armada from this BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased a Nissan Armada from this dealership! Probably shouldn't have... Flew out to Utah to purchase it. While there signing the p BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased a Nissan Armada from this dealership! Probably shouldn't have... Flew out to Utah to purchase it. While there signing the paperwork, they pulled a slimmy move and upped the price buy $2000, knowing that we were on a time crunch, and they won't even address it. As we drive it home not even out of the city the third brake light falls off the vehicle. A $700 repair. Couldn't stop in the rush hour traffic, to retrieve it, but called the sales man right away. They said they would take care of it, but they didn't. They used Covid19 as an excuse to drag it out and eventually finding out that they won't honor their salesman's word. Also, while driving it the alignment was off, and the front passenger side ball joint was going out another $500. But just so everyone is aware that Tim Dahle Nissan will take advantage of buyers. Slimmy business practices and liers on top of it. Straight trash business! Stay clear! More

Family member purchased a new truck from these guys. Once he got it home he noticed there was a crunching noise. Come to find out the "new truck" had been lifted and altered in a big way to get a bigger sale he got it home he noticed there was a crunching noise. Come to find out the "new truck" had been lifted and altered in a big way to get a bigger sale. Once the truck didn't sell they dropped it back down and tried to get it back to "factory". Once they rebuilt the truck back to factory they put it back on the lot and sold it as a "new" truck to my family member. THEY FORGOT TO ATTACH THE SWAY BARS, cracked the inside of the wheel well when they screwed it back together and chopped the roll bars out of the back bed area. None of this was seen of course until it was taken to a different dealership to see what the crunching noise was and this dealership said the truck wasn't even safe to drive. So, the short story is after several attempts and negotiation (which is crazy because of how in the wrong Tim Dahle was) the truck was sent back and a new truck was promised to be delivered. Well.....Of course it took them longer than they said to take the truck back and the new truck was never delivered. Finally after weeks of waiting the same truck came back "fixed". So they replaced some parts and threw it together again. This is absolute fraud and I would never buy from them or send someone to this dealership. The opposite actually. Another family member asked where the truck was purchased because he needed a new truck and we told him to tell everyone not to purchase a truck from this place. If it was worth the time and effort to get an attorney involved we would, but as we all know it typically isn't. Fraud and typically car salesman tactics all the way up to the manager at owner at this dealership. I will probably be reporting this to Nissan corporate even though it isn't my vehicle. I could've made this much more detailed and long, but hoping people read this and see what a bad business this is. I know there are many positive reviews, but the fact that they are altering new factory vehicles and not telling customers is very bad business if the consumer doesn't know. More

Follow-up review Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne In late February 2020 I posted a review on this site of a nightmarish experience I was in the middle of with Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne, Salt Lake Ci In late February 2020 I posted a review on this site of a nightmarish experience I was in the middle of with Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne, Salt Lake City, Utah. I had made a down payment on a 2006 Nissan Titan and left the dealership with all the signed paperwork and assurances I would receive the final loan documents, tag and title within a couple of weeks. I wanted to pay cash for the truck, but was talked into the loan after being told the price would go up if I paid cash. After six weeks I had not been successful in having a meaningful contact with anyone at Tim Dahle, had no loan documents, no tag no title. I stated in that review that I would report again on any progress – good or bad. Unfortunately, no progress. All bad. Again, if there is ever an equitable resolution to Tim Dahle Nissan’s baffling, bumbling, totally inept performance, I will report it here. If not, I will report that as well. It is now the end of May, I have left over fifteen messages with various executives and staff at the dealership, have only received call backs on three occasions, a couple of texts, and still have no resolution to the facts; I have the truck, they have my money, and I have no tag, title, or loan documents (or even a firm offer). During my few successful attempts at speaking with the dealership, I have repeatedly offered to pay cash or accept any reasonable financing. I also offered to have them return my money and pick up the truck if they are not capable of affecting any other solution. Again, no substantive responses. Only a few “we’re working on it.” The market has changed significantly since I thought I had purchased the truck, and I can now buy a similar model, newer, with the same mileage, for less money. Perhaps from a dealer that can complete a simple sales transaction. As I sold a vehicle shortly before attempting to purchase the truck and I’ve never received the tag I paid for – I have been essentially limited for 4+ months to 1 vehicle rather than two. I have been paying insurance on the truck since January. Totally frustrated, I contacted the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles to try to obtain a temporary tag. I forwarded copies of all the signed paperwork, including Bill of Sale and documentation showing I had paid for the tag and title. A very pleasant and efficient investigator told me he would contact Tim Dahle and try to get the problem resolved. He contacted them and gave me the name of Earnest Willits, whom he said he talked to and I should contact. I have left three messages for Willits with the dealership office (I was told he doesn’t have a voicemail) and have never heard back from him. It has now been over six weeks since anyone at Tim Dahle has taken my calls or contacted me, and almost 5 months since I left the Tim Dahle Southtowne dealership with all the documentation stating I had purchased the truck, paid all applicable fees, and would soon receive the title and tag. We went in last Saturday to look at used car they had listed. After we test drove it we went in and made an offer the salesman left and came back and had addedo almost $1,600 to the asking price claiming listed. After we test drove it we went in and made an offer the salesman left and came back and had addedo almost $1,600 to the asking price claiming that they had done suspension work on the car. We immediately said no and we're leaving and then theysaid make me an offer we made an offer without the extra and he accepted. We also asked if they would get us a list of repairs done because the car rode a little rough and didnt want to duplicate repairs and Ramon said yes. He also said the car had been gone through and inspected and everything checked. We later find out from the finance person that there had been no work done on the car in fact the blinkers didn't even work. We then went and asked to Ramon why he told his work had been done and he said Oh I thought I saw it being worked on...he didn't even hesitate with lying to our face. Tim dahle has a standard of adding 1500 to $2,000 on any used car claiming for repairs. When we got home and it clear that codes that indicated a bad transmission had been cleared by them. MULTIPLE CODES... I called the next day to talk to Ernie about any issues and one of the salesmen answered the phone and would not let me talk to anybody....and was very sarcasticwith me. I called the next day and got ahold of Ernie... he offered no Solutions no help just made excuses. The entire sales staff has to be really dirty please avoid this place at any cost. They wouldn't even sell me an extended warranty because I suspect they knew the car needed a transmission. It's my fault I should have walked out of there at the first sign of their lies....There is NO POSSIBLE way that they were not aware of the problems.... they had cleared multiple codes indicating a bad transmission More
Hey everyone, heads up this is my second time written a bad review about this car dealer, this people are just horrible, it’s now 5 months a had close my deal with them. And here I am still waiting for my bad review about this car dealer, this people are just horrible, it’s now 5 months a had close my deal with them. And here I am still waiting for my title , 5 month guys, Which means 5 payments to the bank, 5 payments tours my insurance and the vehicle is here seating in my driveway still waiting for my title so I can be able to register the vehicle. No ones calls or returns email, now I’m in proceeding with the DIVISION of TITLES, so they can help me chase this supposedly professional car agents. When you want to describe the definition of fraud, just said TIM DAHLE NISSAN. Here are the names....... Sales person- Tommy..... Finance- Ben Gowen Sales Manager- George Title REP- Toni, and Karen.. The rest of the names I don’t recall but, there are a few more that knows about my issue but no one seems to resolve it , why because is no longer there problem. Is what they claim. Horrible Lemme Unprofessional xxxxxxxx More
