A clear shudder in the transmission shifting I took my vehicle to Tom Ahl Service for them to diagnose a shudder that is in the transmission. You can clearly feel it (my fiancee can clearly feel I took my vehicle to Tom Ahl Service for them to diagnose a shudder that is in the transmission. You can clearly feel it (my fiancee can clearly feel it also) at 30 mph. The service representative I spoke with stated that there was no shudder in the transmission. As clearly as you can feel this, I'm not sure why they would state that there is no problem. It feels like when it is shifting between gears that possibly the clutches are worn down. I went directly to the Jeep dealer instead of a transmission shop because I was under the impression that I would receive better service. More

After a test drive, I went home and thought about it. I bought the truck the next day because I liked it and thought Gene offered me a fair deal. But that is not the only reason, Gene conducted himself in a very professional yet friendly manner and was very knowledgeable, I liked that.
