They're all about helping your Ohana I don't know what to expect when I walked in to this dealership. I was basically relying on the years of experience that these organization has in sel I don't know what to expect when I walked in to this dealership. I was basically relying on the years of experience that these organization has in selling cars to people, plus their huge inventory. We needed a car. I didn't have perfect/ideal credit, so I already have established that with Dustin so we can go straight to the point, no deli-daly, no bs. Then there's the back and forth dealing. The thing is, Dustin handled it very professionally, and he made us feel he understands our unique situation. Not like we've been rejected before, but it would have been a bummer if we were. Then he and his Financial Manager (John Kawamura) were very accommodating. The lesson here is, if you had less than ideal credit score, recover, take care of it and have a plan. Be honest about it. Take care of your job/income and stay positive. They believed me, and that's what mattered most. Now, that, is what Dustin, John, and Tony Honda and their employee's mission - to help people the best way they possibly can. True professionals indeed. First Time Buyer Came in needing to replace aging 19 year old CRV. I could joke around easily and feel welcomed with the team there. Great team at Tony Honda. I only have to mark down because of a comment made that I know wasn't meant to harm, but perhaps listening to what's being said from the customer's mouth matters more then canned comments/faux smiles/repeat. I was sitting with the accessories sales lady (I'm sorry, I forgot her name), she assumed I had bought a car before and I corrected her (this is fine), but mentioned this car has been in my family since 1998 and I only have it because my dad died....her comment was along the lines of "oh that's nice, not having to pay, getting a car for free"....I wouldn't necessarily call my dad dying "for free" or "nice". I get that this is sales, and sales people have to make small talk all day pretending to put on a smile and listen to people's life stories, but perhaps listening a little closer would have come in to play here. She never pressured me into buying anything, she was very friendly and nice, but again, listening....it matters. More
