I've been with Tony Honda for the past 16 years since I purchased a silver / red interior 2 I'm 72 years old and have lived in Hawaii for 34 years. I've been with Tony Honda for the past 16 years since I purchased a silver / red interior 2000 S2000 which has over 98,000 miles with the original factory installed brake pads! Service & staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and exceptional. The dealership, which also includes Nissan, VW, and Hyundai ( Tony Autoplex ) is so conveniently located right by the Ka Uka Blvd exit of the H2 freeway and across the street from COSTCO and in front of its own car wash facility and the Kaiser Permanente Wapio clinic. A Tony Honda shuttle can take a customer home if a service visit is long, and a loaner car is available when appropriate, directly from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car desk located in Tony's Nissan dealership adjacent to Honda. I have driven used stick shift cars all my life. The S2000 was my 1st NEW car and my first Honda. The Accord EX-L is the 1st automatic transmission car I have had to drive & the 1st car I have leased. I chose it over the Accord Sport because I don't like black interiors that are standard on the Sport. Black absorbs heat too easily. That is also why I chose a red interior for my S2000 instead of black. The interior of my EX-L is ivory / tan for a more pleasing, eye-catching contrast. I also chose a pearl white exterior because it reflects heat and is cooler to the touch than a black or other non-white painted vehicle. Fuel used to cool a white car with a lighter interior should theoretically be less than for a black car with any dark interior, thereby maximizing fuel economy. Even my Mililani home is white for the same reason. American Honda was exceptional in its support for my S2000 last year when I was trying to find new carpet in preparation for its sale. I hope to lease the Honda Clarity hydrogen car from Tony Honda by the time my Accord lease is over. Servco Pacific Toyota dealer received approval to build its hydrogen station to sell the Marai in Honolulu so I hope Tony Honda will be able to build a station in the next 3 years so I can have the ultimate driving machine, a hydrogen-powered Honda Clarity from Tony Honda, not a BMW! More

How Car Buying Should Be First of all, I normally dread going to new car dealerships. The negotiating, exchanging of pricing numbers, the time in the dealership, sometimes rude salesman and finance mgrs. Always trying to up sell you. Well, wife needed a new car, we settled on the '17 Honda Civic. With homework in hand, I was ready for battle. But to my surprise, it was an environment of detente, no hard sell, just a relaxed understanding of what we wanted. Initially met by Gunnar, we told him we were waiting for Scott M. or Tracie K. He helped us locate the car we were interested in, regardless if we were working with someone else. Prior experience, salesman would just walk away. But he stayed with us until Scott arrived. It was such a pleasure working with Scott, he was upfront with us, showed us the numbers of the price of the car. No pressure, no hard sell, just a relaxed and friendly conversation. I could not believe the price, (employee pricing) no haggling required, good job Tony Honda! We also worked with John Kawamura, the Finance mgr. He was very pleasant with insight to understand what we were going through due to being in the dealership for over five hours. That was the only drawback, the long wait to get us processed, John processed us in a very timely manner with no hard up sell like other Finance mgr we dealt with in the pass. All in all, very positive experience, we highly recommend this Dealership. This is our third Honda Civic from Tony Honda. We are and continue to be Fans of Tony Honda. More
