John Vanhtha, above and beyond My son and I arrived on Oahu in mid April and he bought a used Honda Pilot from and individual. We decided that we wanted to have the car checked out by a dealership and Tony Honda was recommended. We called and spoke with John Vanhtha and set up an appointment to be checked out. We met John, our service tech and got great service and customer support from him while my son's Pilot was being worked on. It took longer than expected to repair so my son was set up with a courtesy car until his was ready. The day after my son got his Pilot back he smelled gas and stopped to check it out. He was stuck in traffic and called a towing service to come tow him. Once told that they would not tow until the gas was drained my son called John and John suggested another towing service. They came promptly and towed it to the dealership where John worked to get it looked at quickly. It was going to take a few days to repair so John again set my son in a courtesy car with Enterprise. I had already left the Island when the car was in the shop the first time so it was a huge comfort (being a thousand miles away) to know that someone would take care of him and provide transportation while the car was worked on. It gets better, due to several trips to Enterprise my son met someone there that suggested he apply for a job there. He did and will be starting work soon in their management program. Can't thank John and your staff enough for the great customer service provided. More

He promptly called me back and said van needs to come in. I told him I can be there by 8:30. He said that it was good. See you then. I arrived, at 8:30 someone was there to take the van, Wade went over what was problem. I said yes, since I bought a extended service contract from him, he had a rental ready to pick up from Enterprise. He called later that day and said car would be ready by 4:00 p.m. Since I had to take my son to work I told him I can pick up on Saturday. He said no problem and that they open at 7:00. My experience with Wade always exceeds in his friendliness and actual knowledge of the van. Thank you Kellie More

From that first visit on, I always kept my fingers crossed that he would be my service consultant. On a number of visits, I would have anywhere from 2 to 3 of my toddlers with me (ages 1, 2 & 3 at their youngest). He would take one look at the little ones and tell me something to the effect of "I see your hands are full today. I will see to it that your car gets serviced immediately." My kids and I would walk across the neighboring Costco parking lot to Starbucks, order drinks and snacks, and by the time we were done with our goodies, we would receive a call from Sean that my car was ready. I appreciated his exceptional customer service skills then, and I appreciate them even more now. I live on a neighbor island now, and the customer service here is no where near the level of Sean! More

Very good experience! I arrived on Oahu on 31 May 2015 with my family. We had to travel in a rental car until our car arrived from the mainland, and were looking for a suit I arrived on Oahu on 31 May 2015 with my family. We had to travel in a rental car until our car arrived from the mainland, and were looking for a suitable family vehicle due to both my wife and I working. we have always been a Honda family but began looking at two other dealerships prior to going to Tony Honda (Nissan and Kia). Once we arrived we were greeted in a very professional manner by our salesman David Diaz. I explained to him our situation and exactly what i wanted price included. He was successful in getting us the vehicle that we wanted and could afford. I will definitely be recommending this dealership and salesman to others I work with. I would shop here again if I could do it all over again. Very good experience! More
