A very pleasant experience! There are many things we like about Tony Honda, going back to the first car we purchased in 1997, when located in Aiea, a special edition Accord. However, as much as we have liked them, our vehicle needs and tastes migrated and we did not buy from them again until a pre-owned car for our son in the early 2000s and then a new Fit purchase in 2016. Unfortunately, the salesman we worked with then left a bad impression. However, the subsequent great support by the Service Department, as well as proximity to our home, have made up for it in the last four years. We had owned higher end autos as our primary vehicle for the past 20 years, but the time had come in our lives to downsize. Recognizing that, we searched around over a year for the style and model that best fit our needs, heavily scrutinizing the full market, and always came back to an HR-V. We followed the inventories of all three island Honda dealerships for the past year or more and decided it was time to act. We also had been scrutinizing the various sales representatives, given the negative experience on last purchase. Lauren Hayashi seemed to stand out as someone we could trust, would recognize both my wife and myself as customers, and treat us with respect, which were missing in the previous sale. That was a delightfully wise choice. I contacted Lauren by e-mail and expressed our desire for a demo drive and to discuss a possible HR-V purchase. She promptly called to set an appointment, and not having even met us yet said something in a sincere voice I’d never heard from a sales representative, “Thank you for trusting me.” Based on a brief telephone chat, Lauren chose precisely the HR-V from stock we focused interest on and had it waiting for a demo drive, streamlining the purchase decision. She was professional, attentive, respectful, personable, diligent, knowledgable, and most eager to fulfill our specific needs. That, incidentally, was what Tony Honda had done in 1997 when we bought the Accord with expectation of moving to Oahu two months later from Japan. The sales staff agreed to put it in commercial storage for us, which another local Honda dealership would not do as we considered the same car from them. Lauren made up for any concerns that lingered from our last Tony Honda purchase. We expect to replace our 2016 Fit in the future and look forward to again working with Lauren. People often forget what is said, but they don’t forget how you made them feel. Good job Lauren, you treated us very well. What a great professional to know and work with! More

I had an exceptional experience at Tony Honda buying my new HRV thanks to David Diaz. He patiently answered all my silly questions and took plenty of extra time to teach me about my new car and how to use new HRV thanks to David Diaz.
