Bad experience. Entered car to test drive with radio on. Didn’t notice the grinding’ noise from brakes until after I bought the car. Brought the issue to Nissan a Entered car to test drive with radio on. Didn’t notice the grinding’ noise from brakes until after I bought the car. Brought the issue to Nissan after a week of driving and they say can’t do anything: ‘noise is not covered’ under CPO warranty. When I brought the car in to get looked at. They shine a flashlight in the wheel and call it rust - is that what you call inspecting what's causing the breaks to grind? They said they shined a flashlight to see rust!!!! They say rust is causing the grinding and should go away after driving it for a while. When I brought it in, it already had been a week of driving (now 2 weeks and still grinding). Out the gate, seems I will be stuck with an expense (rotors or brakes) for a ‘CPO’ certified car. A "certified pre-owned car'" should be mechanically sound, not just safe. Nissan should have taken care of the grinding before the sale of the car. Very disappointed in the sale/service. More
