Dont let dealership say you have to pay these ridiculous fees. Do your research firsts about fees. More

Please read this post to protect your investment, especially if you are leasing. I originally leased my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in July 2017. I have to say that I had a very positive experience, and at that time, I would have definitely recommended this dealership. During the final check out, all the options were explained to me e.g. Sirius radio would come off after one year, as well as the “Uconnect” feature which is the navigation system also given for one year. Fast forward to one year from leasing agreement. Sirius came off, which was no problem for me as I was a lifetime subscriber. Navigation also came off, which never concerned me as I never used it, thanks to Waze. I had no use for these features and never used them. Here is what DID come off, the voice texting feature which is a standard safety on today’s new cars: Honda, BMW, etc. Now, you can’t answer text messages via voice. THIS IS A STANDARD FEATURE ON MOST CARS!!! So, I called the dealership and spoke with my salesperson, who told me that I should go into any dealership and get this reconnected as it is a standard feature. (I live in Westchester and this dealer is in Suffolk county.) When I called three dealerships near me, they all said that this is a PAID feature of the Uconnect system. I then called THIS dealership and they AGAIN said, yes, it is standard feature. So, because of all the misinformation, and no one agreeing, I called Uconnect and they said that it was indeed a premium feature and that I need to pay about $150/year for the talk to text feature. I called this dealership and spoke to a very helpful gentleman named London who tried his best to get this feature back on my car as I was given the WRONG information at time of purchase as well as one year later. The dealership would NOT budge! So, my lease is $479.16 per month and I don’t have the basic features that other cars have as a standard safety feature. I told them that for $300, they lost a repeat Jeep customer (my third) and that I will do my best to protect other future customers. Hence the reason for this posting. Potential buyers: MAKE SURE, you negotiate your options prior to your purchase!! This needs to be negotiated at the time of the sale. What I have found was that some of the salespeople are poorly informed about the standard and premium feature offered in these vehicles. Dear Dealership: I do hope that your reconsider your position. Sneaky tactics are not how you retain customers. A mistake is just that, a mistake, so make good on it! I hope that those reading this posting are now protected from your business tactics. More

Horrible experience We wanted to but a jeep on Nov18 Sunday The head dealer in the used car dept told us to come back on Monday at 6pm and everything would be ready. We w We wanted to but a jeep on Nov18 Sunday The head dealer in the used car dept told us to come back on Monday at 6pm and everything would be ready. We waited 4 and 1/2 hours to take delivery of the vehicle. The dealer in the “podium” couldnt care less and blamed it on a down computer He showed no compassion and had a surly attitude. It should not take that long to take delivery when they had all day to prepare. I guess the care about volume and not the individual sales. Should have gone to the Atlantic Auto Mall. Customer service is NOT their strong point More
