Extremely unprofessional experience—avoid this dealership
I scheduled a test drive for a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Altitude with Raphael Santiago. I was genuinely excited, as I felt this was the right vehicle for me.
Prior to making the 2.5-hour commute from Eastern Long Island, I confirmed every detail with Raphael. Per his specific instructions, I submitted a pre-approval application and even added the specific VIN to my insurance policy so I would be ready to drive the car off the lot that day.
When I arrived after my long trip, I was told the car had not passed inspection and was unavailable. No one had the courtesy to call or email me to save me the five-hour round-trip commute. To make matters worse, Raphael was nowhere to be found. Instead of an apology, the General Manager immediately began upselling me into a different vehicle that was $25,000 over my specified budget.
I was shocked to see a review from another customer, Rob, on April 24th, which describes an eerily similar bait-and-switch experience. It is clear that this is a pattern of behavior for this dealership.
Beyond the sales tactics, the environment is incredibly unprofessional; the music in the showroom is turned up so loud that you can barely hear the person sitting across from you. Between the lack of communication, the wasted time, and the pushy sales tactics, I am beyond disappointed. I will never be returning to this dealership and I suggest others look elsewhere.
