Poor sales practices I scheduled an appointment to look at a ram 1500 4 days ago and meet with a salesman. I was introduced to Joe DeFrancesco. Seems like a genuinely ni I scheduled an appointment to look at a ram 1500 4 days ago and meet with a salesman. I was introduced to Joe DeFrancesco. Seems like a genuinely nice gun. I'm in sales so i didn't want to waste to much of his time and was pretty direct about what truck i wanted with the options i wanted. I asked him if he had any in stock which he said he did. He printed out the window sticker and i was satisfied with the options it came with. I asked him to give me his best price because i know the game of going back and forth. He went to his manager and came back with an incredibly low price. I was shocked and in disbelief. I told him i was pretty sure i would take the vehicle and that i was visiting one other dealership and i would get back to him later today. I visited the other dealership and was quoted a much higher price which was expected. I called Joe back and received his voicemail. Tried back a few hours later and was able to speak to him. I told him i would like to move forward. He said that the manager had left for the day and to call back tomorrow to ask for him. Joe was off Friday and thought it would be best to do it this way. I called the manager the next day and was told he was to busy to speak with me and to call back Saturday when Joe was in to discus the deal and finalize it. Unfortunately i cant remember the managers name. I said OK and called Joe on Saturday only to get blown off and never have a call returned. I knew the deal they gave me was to good to be true and that they were playing games. Being in sales myself i hate when people just cant be straight forward. Why lie and piss people off so they can write bad reviews about you. Poorly run dealership with bad practices. I still got the truck i wanted from another dealership. I didn't get the price Town and country offered because in the end it wasn't real. Everyone wants a good deal and to be treated well. You're not going to get that from this dealership. More
