I bought a 2018 Explorer Limited today after 2 solid weeks of searching for the exact features I wanted. I walked out on Grapevine Ford and Rockwall Ford for the painful haggling process and other deale weeks of searching for the exact features I wanted. I walked out on Grapevine Ford and Rockwall Ford for the painful haggling process and other dealers for not knowing anything about their car’s features. As it turns out, my hometown of Mesquite, good ol’ Town East Ford, offered me not only the best price AND trade in value, but overall easiest car buying experience. I was in and out in no time and never felt captive or pressured. I love the car, got an awesome deal with a very affordable warranty plan that I am happy with. I think it was mostly due to the Pre-Owned Manager Michael Mullens. He was honest and fair, reached out to me personally, FIRST, and had a great sales guy and finance guy that worked with me. I would absolutely recommend this place. I don’t understand why all dealerships don’t operate this way. I’ve always bought at CarMax. No hate on CarMax but they offered my $3,000 less than Town East Ford, and they didn’t have the best price, car was dirty, sales guy didn’t care or even know the car. Just sayin’.
