Do not ever go to Town and Country Toyota, unless you enjoy unscrupulous, deceiving tactics to sell a vehicle. On Sunday, I was greeted cordially by my salesman, Jack Daly. He was very accommodating, friendly, and very informative. The completion of the appraisal of my trade was fair, and the completion of the original buyer's order went well. Once I met with the finance employee named Ray Cockerham, things went downhill quickly. Jack had added the price of the 2 amenities that I approved, running boards and Resist All, into the base price of the vehicle. However, the list of amenities remained separately on the buyer's order. Ray added the amenities in a second time, plus he added an amenity that I never requested. I did not catch it at first, because I had no reason to believe anyone at this dealership would be dishonest. But, I felt that something wasn't quite right, and returned to the dealership on Monday. I met with the sales manager, Sean Williams. He assured me that everything was correct with my contract, and quickly dismissed me. I called back Monday evening to speak to my salesman, Jack. I left 2 voicemails, and finally reached him directly on Tuesday. I returned to the dealership again. This time, I met with Jack and another finance employee named David. We went over the contract, and discovered I was in the right. We nullified the original contract, and thankfully it had not been processed yet. I was then able to finance the vehicle with my credit union. When I returned with the payoff amount, I met with Ray again to complete a second retail purchase order. After Ray completed his shady paperwork, he informed me that I still owed him $30. Needless to say, my credit union did not make a mistake. I am writing this to warn others that you should double check each item on your retail agreement BEFORE you sign it. I certainly believe that it was purposeful to deceive me out of the amount of my trade so that they would make out like champs. Well, this girl beat them at their own game. More

purchased a RAV4 using AutoTrader, flew my son to Charlotte to pick it up, only one key, no they want $350 for a key, i have never purchased a car and recieved one key, they accept no responsi Charlotte to pick it up, only one key, no they want $350 for a key, i have never purchased a car and recieved one key, they accept no responsibility to provide one even when i offered to pay cost- about $150 to buy one. now i have to go to another dealer to get a second smart key. We felt well taken care of, never felt pressured, and felt that we got a great rate and value for our money!! Additionally, Scott Reese is "on the ball" too - He always got back with us quickly before, during, and after the sale. And, he not only met our high expectations, he significantly exceeded them. We saw several cars on their website that looked good and were in our price range. When we went to the dealership later that day, they had sold each of those vehicles (5) and had nothing similar within $5,0 were in our price range. I pulled up their website on my phone to give the sales guy the stock numbers and show him that they are still listed on their website as being for sale. He shrugged and said they had already sold. I checked a week later, and those same cars are still on their website. Internet bait and switch? More

Scott Reese was our sales rep and he was extremely honest, friendly and knowledgeable. Town and Country Toyota is a class-act from the sales group, management and the finance crew. Everything was perfect. My wife and I are very picky and these guys met every expectation from start to finish. Compared to the competition (Scott Clark's Toyota) from whom I bought a Tacoma truck from earlier, the sales experience is night and day. Scott Clarks try to herd you through like cattle (I'm surprised they don't brand you!) and they tried to change the payment on me by $10 a month at the last minute and called me a liar. I won't have bought the truck after that, but it was the only truck in town with the interior color I wanted. However, I will NEVER buy another car for Scott Clark again!!! Stay clear of Scott Clark if you don't want to get ripped-off, lied to, and sit around for 8 hours waiting! Instead, go the Town and Country Toyota on South Blvd in Charlotte NC and get the right car at the right price and have a great time doing it! More

After visiting 7 other car dealers, we were pleasently surprised by the no-pressure opportunity to wander the lot and examine their large, diverse variety of used cars. Lynn Phifer greeted us as we parked but then let us look at our leisure, answering all questions we had when we needed him (and he knew the answers regarding the 4 models we had questions about without having to search). When we came back for a test drive & to sign paperwork holding the car, it was handled quickly and efficiently, very mindful of pressing obligations we had constraining our time. After having trouble with our initial financing, Brad in finance worked with us to get a great finance offer (even better than the one that fell through). Signing the purchase paperwork and driving off the lot was painless and quick as well. Both of us dread the whole car-buying process, from browsing to selection to financing to delivery. But Lynn & Brad at Town & Country made the whole process smooth and painless. We will defintely recommend them to anyone we know (and already have) and we will visit them again for our next car purchase. More
