I bought a 2012 Sonata Limited last week from Towne Hyundai. Sean Cullen, who handles Internet clients, was terrific. The specific model I wanted was not in stock at Denville, but Sean was able to locate it for me and then get it within a few days. I wasn't able to pick it up until the end of the next week, but that wasn't a problem with Sean. When I came to pick up the car, everything was just as I wanted. Sean even followed up by phone to see how I liked the car and if I had any questions, which was quite thoughtful. Overall, the service with Sean Cullen at Towne Hyundai in Denville was excellent, and I will definitely recommend Sean and this dealership to others as well as do business there again. More
Ok so here it goes. My husband and I went to this dealership as it is 10 mins from where we both work and thought it would be best. We were introduced to our salesman Jake and after test driving and dealership as it is 10 mins from where we both work and thought it would be best. We were introduced to our salesman Jake and after test driving and liking the Accent Se we were ready for the paper work and numbers of course right now we are "Royalty" and a hot prospect for another end of the month sale. We were then introduced to a manager named Christopher who kept us there for 2+ hours and after hanging around were told that although my husband has a "great credit score" they could not do the trade with the negitive equity of the car we had. All well and good I understand and we left. After driving about 10 mins down I decided to call them back and get the numbers for the final price of the car and how much they would go on my trade and we would handle the financing ourselves through another online company that we have used before where we just hand the dealer a check and sign our names and drive away. When I called back and asked Jake the numbers he said he didnt know them Chris did and he would get them and call me back. Back at our home I still didn't get a call so I once again called to find out it was still TOO MUCH TROUBLE for the same guy that wanted our business an hour earlier to take a second to show those numbers to Jake to give to me. I waited until the next day to call them AGAIN this time I was asked my name, put on hold for 5 min then told oh, Chris did not come in today, Asked to speak with GM the again put me hold for 5 more mins and was told they are busy so I talked with Jake and told him "I DON'T LIKE BEING LIED TO OR TREATED LIKE I'M STUPID AND THAT I DON'T REALIZE WHAT GAME THEY ARE PLAYING, ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY CAN'T GIVE ME 2 SECONDS OF THEIR TIME AND NOW WE ARE TREATED LIKE 2ND CLASS CITIZENS WHO THEY FEEL ARE NO LONGER A PROSPECT, BUT I ALSO CALLED TO LET HIM KNOW THAT WE GOT THE CHECK FROM THE ONLINE BANK AND WERE BUYING THE CAR AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP WAY FURTHER OUT OF THE WAY BUT WE FEEL ITS WORTH IT AND WILL NOT SPEND A DIME OF OUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THAT PLACE AND TO DATE AFTER LEAVING ANOTHER MESSAGE IN CHRIS VOICEMAIL LAST NIGHT....STILL NOT THE DECENCY TO CALL US. SO I SAY...THEY CAN TAKE THEIR OVERPRICED CARS AND SHOVE THEM!!!!! HELL, WE HAVE BOUGHT CORVETTE'S AND CHALLENGERS WITHOUT LAYING A DIME OUT OF OUR POCKETS AND WE ARE NOT ABOUT TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS AT A FREAKIN HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A DEALERSHIP THAT KEEPS YOU HAPPY EVEN AFTER YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE!!! That all changed after meeting with Javier, who is professonal in every sense and thoroughly knowledgeable with not only the cars, but the financing as well. Chris also worked with Javier on my purchase and backed up Javier to reassure me about the dealership's ability to perform. The entire team at Towne proved that not only should I consider purchasing from them, but, why would I go anywhere else. The entire experience was made easy and enjoyable. When I came in to sign up last Thursday evening, you had run out of regular coffee. Instead of blowing me off, Javier went to the back and found a packet and made me a cup. This was in between servicing another customer and myself. While I was waiting for the deal to complete, I read the car's manual. Still, when I was to drive away, Javier still took the time to show me all the features, even though I told him I read most everything and it was near closing time. These days, it's not very often when we can see someone who truly loves their job and is an asset to their company. For me, Javier is Towne Hyundai. And me? Being that it was President's Day, the dealership was extremely crowded. After a very short wait I was introduced to Jake Hughes,(sales rep). Jake was very friendly and knowledgable. If he didn't have an answer for my questions he immediately got me an answer. Knowing that I had wanted to purchase a new 2012 Accent, Jake did not try forcing a more expensive car on me. He showed me what the dealer had in stock, explained the details of the car and went out for a test drive. The entire process took about 4 hours,(start to finish),and it was nice to see that as crowded as it was, Jake was not rushing me. He was concerned about me and not worrying about rushing me out so that he could try to get another sale. It has only been a few days and so far I am extremely happy with my vehicle. Jake has also called me a few times to follow up and make sure that I am happy with the car. Also the finance team was very friendly.
