"Long May You Run" Toyota Marin has taken care of my '03 Prius ever since I moved to Marin in '05 - and I say "taken care of" rather than "provided service for" because Toyota Marin has taken care of my '03 Prius ever since I moved to Marin in '05 - and I say "taken care of" rather than "provided service for" because real care is taken. The care (service) team, led by Paula McCormick, has helped me - and my kids, with their car needs - with unfailing excellence, generosity, and warmth. My Prius has almost 160K miles now, and it is still gets 40+ mpg. My grandchildren named it "the Bubbe car" ('bubbie' means grandma.) In the words of a favorite Neil Young song, "with your chrome heart shining in the sun, long may you run." Thank you Paula McCormick and Toyota of Marin! More

Mr. Zabel helped me find parts and costs of parts needed for my Toyota 4Runner after I discovered no help from any parts dept. in my area of Northern California. I am outstandingly pleased with the service I receive at your Dealership. However, Mr. Zabel's professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation quickly exceeded my expectations. Within a 15 Min, period, he was able to verify the parts and prices and where I could get them in my area or process my order with him. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. Unprofessional work ethics My experience at Toyota Marin was extremely unsatisfactory. The work ethics of most employers were unprofessional as if, laughing behind the front des My experience at Toyota Marin was extremely unsatisfactory. The work ethics of most employers were unprofessional as if, laughing behind the front desk, joking around, including but not limited to excessive loud talking, laughing and teasing of employees and texting was professional at a work place. I am aware that work places are supposed to be eased and lax however the staff at Toyota Marin were very rude and made me feel very un-welcomed. First- off, I was extremely taken away at how the Service Department Manager treated her employees and staff during my visit. Favoritism is clearly noticeable within the work place as I observed her smile and say hi to employees as she walked by and turned her head away towards other employees and ignored them. The attitude of the Service Department Manager is a clear reflection of her abilities to staff and properly manage a crew that acted like a circus and a joke to Toyota. As a reputable car dealership dealing with one of the top car sellers in America the service and employment work ethics give's Toyota a poor character when it comes to customer service. Secondly, I'd also like to add that while waiting in the waiting room, the only thing that made my experience at Toyota feel welcomed was the shuttle service. As I saw shuttle drivers running around picking up the next person/ dropping them off they made sure that people waiting in the waiting room were also included in the shuttle service; even though I myself, was not signed up to be shuttled, I experienced a sense of great pride in the shuttle service peoples accommodations to customers. Lastly, as time went by I eventually decided to take the free shuttle service to the local mall while waiting for my car to finish getting its services completed. My experience again this time in the shuttle service was a poor characteristics on cleanliness and safeness of vehicles. The shuttle vans felt very uneasy and I did not feel safe being transported in a "death trap". Many times while breaking the van did not break in time and a hard slam towards the end was experienced. This is excluding the driving ability of the driver as I clearly saw him press on the breaks in advance before flooring the breaks to stop the van from proceeding into traffic. The axial of the vehicle when turning made popping sounds and so forth. I hope whoever is in charge of these shuttle vans replaces them or gets them fixed before someone gets into an accident and sues Toyota over a situation that can be easily mitigated. Overall, when asked who I could talk to about my experience at Toyota the shuttle driver said to call or email the Service Department Manager Paula McCormick. Since, I did not feel comfortable with telling the person I had a problem with face to face I am making this a public comment for the fact that; I too, do not want to feel harassed or mistreated the same way as she treated her employees. My visit was an unanticipated pleasure. Each employee, from Dan who answered my call seeking a service appointment, to Max who greeted me when I drove up, and each person I encountered after them was deli from Dan who answered my call seeking a service appointment, to Max who greeted me when I drove up, and each person I encountered after them was delightful. The work was done quickly and effectively. The waiting room was comfortable and stocked with snacks. My car was freshly washed and waiting for me when I checked out. The work was performed under my prepaid service plan. It was a simply wonderful experience. More
Our Prius (purchased at another dealer in 2009) had a rare (?) serious electronic problem. Under dash console wiring harness (?). This caused the car to not be able to shut the engine off. Lex Sinclaire and team diagnosted quickly and sent me on my way with a comp rental car; a brand new Prius. Lex knew in would take several weeks for the necessary part to come in. Kept car for 6 weeks until it came in. No charge. Since every European car that I've owned eventually had some serious intermittent electrical problem, I'm very sensitive to this issue. The follow up and professionalism of Toyota Marin and the Corporate "extended warrantee" on this issue made me a Toyota fan for life. Yes, I will likely buy a new car soon and odds are 98% that it will be a Toyota from Toyota Marin. Thanks, Dave W. More
I always have my car serviced at Toyota of Marin. Not only is it a great location, but the staff is friendly and professional. I especially recommend Jason Clark. He arranged the shuttle to drop me off only is it a great location, but the staff is friendly and professional. I especially recommend Jason Clark. He arranged the shuttle to drop me off at work and pick me up when my car was ready. Jason not only made sure that my car was in good condition and had it washed after service, but went the extra mile for me by having the car vacuumed. My car was very clean when I drove home from service; I was impressed! More
