I knew I wanted a 2015 Because I've loved driving it since the complete reconfigure on the model. I talked to Kevin Hamlin, the Internet Director for Toyota Town on Friday with info on what I wanted, meet him on Saturday at the dealership so see what he had found. It's apparently not easy to find a Blue RAV4 without a black interior but Kevin found it, (along with extra features that I hadn't asked for but that I am thrilled to have!) he fetched it and had it ready for me to drive off the lot by Tuesday afternoon. Little did I know when I asked for him at the front door, I bypassed all the salesmen and Kevin listened and answered ALL my questions professionally and honestly. He explained different car options, payment/financing/trade-in options without leaving the room to consult anyone else. Not once did he try to up-sell the latest and greatest but instead, helped by trying to keep me in my price range. His integrity and professionalism is what made me come back after a short lunch and time to think. I knew I would not be able to come across this low-pressure car buying experience ever again. He stayed with me throughout the whole process (other than the financing paperwork), had the car prepared expertly, handed me the keys, synced my iPhone via Bluetooth to the car, explained all the different car functions, showed me where everything was, taught me how to set up radio stations, how to use the touchscreen computer- I could go on and on about how fortunate I was in this large purchase which I take very seriously (I keep my cars for as long as possible) and Kevin was able to make any apprehension go away. Kevin is a true professional and provided me an excellent price (via the Costco Auto purchasing program) on the car up front, no smoke and mirrors and no sales gimmicks. I told him the car I wanted and with what options, he checked his inventory and they had the car in stock. Kevin did NOT try to up sell me or try to sell me a car with extra options that I didn't want. The sales process was also very quick and painless. I was in and out in no time flat. Toyota Town is an excellent facility and is easy to get to. I also love my new Corolla, it's the best car in it's class bar none, I recently went on a 300 mile road trip and got 39.6 mpg.
