The customer service that I received while going through the process of purchasing my 2008 Toyota Highlander was outstanding. Benson was very kind and attentive to what it was that I was looking for in a ve the process of purchasing my 2008 Toyota Highlander was outstanding. Benson was very kind and attentive to what it was that I was looking for in a vehicle. He was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. He spent nearly an hour trying to help me set up my Bluetooth connection, gave me free car mats and even managed to get new tires placed on the vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was treated as a customer - the service was unparalleled. However, my feelings changed greatly after driving the vehicle for a few days. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was told that the previous owner sold the car and only gave one key and that I had to pay $200 to purchase a second key (strike one). I noticed a noise while turning that the technicians were unable to rectify after having tried on 3 separate occasions - to this day, no one knows why this is happening (strike two). Lastly, two days ago, just two and a half months after purchasing my "certified" pre-owned Highlander, I discovered that all of my car's oil had leaked out and was in the street - rendering the vehicle inoperable! The car was towed to the nearest Toyota dealer where the problem was traced to a broken hose (strike three!). The part is back-ordered and my car will not be ready for at least 2 more days. Things have just gone from bad to worse very early on. I do not intend on ever purchasing another vehicle from Toyota of Braintree. I do not expect that everything will be perfect with a "certified" used vehicle, however, 5 trips to the service department in the first two months is a bit excessive to me. More

My wife and I went this dealership never having bought a vehicle from someone not a family friend. We did our research and went with a specific game plan to counter the cunning of the "used car man". We were however met with what seemed like a bunch of our friends who we just haven't met yet. Our primary sales rep was Shane. Super professional, patient with the common question "Is this a Camry or Corolla?", and never made us feel like we were taking up his time or that we needed to buy. The first car we took for a test ride smelled like it had been driven by a pack a day driver. Instead of trying to make excuses or talk about cleaning processes, Shane honestly agreed and noted there were many makes and models on the lot and that this car would most likely be bought by a smoker. Such an honest answer put the two of us at ease. When we finally made our choice, Shane came to us with an initial offer that was competitive to both the areas dealers but also Edmunds. Not having to haggle and wait for him to "see his manager" was very refreshing. While waiting for the paperwork to be ready, a few of the employees had put on the Bruins and personally came over to us, sitting and waiting, dealership newbies, to come watch with them on the big screen. Shane then brought the paperwork to us so we could keep watching. He made sure that even though we had a long paperwork process, we would have as much fun as possible. When Shane was finished he handed us over to John the finance guy. Shane did such a great job explaining the process we had very few questions for John. John however did a great job going into detail about warrantee offers and helped us make what we think was best for us, he never tried to push the ultra premium space ship package, because he knew we didn't need it. When we were walking out to our new used car we felt happy and well taken care of. I look forward to telling anyone looking to buy or lease to visit these guys and look forward to continuing giving them my business. Thanks guys. Dennis and Nicole More

There was zero pressure to buy and whenever I needed to make a choice the options were presented so that I could make informed decisions. For me, buying a car has always been a drag. While I wouldn't call my experience "fun" I would say it was professional, courteous, and -- aside from all that money I spent -- painless. My main sales guy was Long Le; he did an excellent job.
