Dear Service Manager, I am requesting a refund of the $194.99 diagnostic charge from my recent visit. I brought my vehicle in because the TPMS warning light was on. I already knew the issue was related $194.99 diagnostic charge from my recent visit. I brought my vehicle in because the TPMS warning light was on. I already knew the issue was related to the tire pressure sensors. Instead of performing a meaningful diagnosis or identifying which specific sensor had failed, I was simply told that the TPMS sensors needed to be replaced. I was charged nearly $200 for information I already had. I did not receive a detailed diagnostic report, fault codes, or identification of the failed sensor(s). I expected a professional diagnosis that would provide useful information, not a confirmation of the obvious. This charge is unreasonable and does not reflect the value of the service provided. For a similar amount of money, many repair shops would replace the sensors rather than simply recommend doing so. I have always expected honesty and professionalism from a Toyota dealership, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I respectfully request a full refund of the $194.99 diagnostic fee. If this matter cannot be resolved, I will have no choice but to share my experience through Toyota Customer Care and public review platforms.
