Great experience! I have never gone to a dealership before but have heard plenty of horror stories. So I researched for what kind of vehicle I was looking for, what were reasonable deals, then googled for possible dealerships. Emileigh was the only one who contacted me immediately. Emileigh was great. Asked what I wanted, gave me choices and options without trying to manipulate me into something I wouldn't be comfortable with. The dealership was clearly overwhelmed with customers and even though Emileigh was obviously juggling several things she remained calm, helpful and I didn't feel rushed. Even when I was closing the deal they were still coming up with ways to make the deal even better. You would have thought they were making the purchase themselves. I got a great deal for a great Rav4 and left feeling positve. I would definitely go back and highly recommend asking for Emileigh. She's genuinely friendly and helpful without being pushy. More

Toyota sells itself, I owned my present car for 15 years and if you take care of it, it will run for over 200,000 worry free miles. we are giving our grand daughter our present Camry and I know she will enjoy many more trouble free miles. When we decided on what we wanted and it was time to purchase, the sales department worked as a team to get us the vehicle we wanted quickly at a great price. Tough negotiators, but willing to meet prices Emileigh found the last 2018 Sienna in the region that met our needs. When I revealed to her that I'd gotten a better bid on that car from another dea Emileigh found the last 2018 Sienna in the region that met our needs. When I revealed to her that I'd gotten a better bid on that car from another dealership, she matched that bid but then "reserved" the car it in Toyota's system so that I couldn't keep shopping around. This wouldn't have worked with a more common car, but was effective for the last new car of its year. When I told her that I'd decided to go with her offer, she or her manager tried to increase the price by $500, and I had to threaten to just pay more for a 2019 model from another dealership. We went to CarMax for a bid on the car we planned to trade in, and got a fair bid from them. Toyota of Gladstone then bid the KBB value (which already includes an allowance for some repairs) and subtracted the cost of repairing two pieces of damage again, to arrive at a bid about $2500 below CarMax's bid. When I revealed that we actually knew the trade-in's value, they met CarMax's bid. Emileigh mentioned that 0% financing or a $3500 rebate might be mutually exclusive, but when she came back saying 0% financing was available, didn't immediately say it would increase the car's base price. Fortunately, after I said we'd take the cheap financing, she said it'd change the sale price, and I was able to decline. The paperwork person then also tried to get us to accept 1% financing, which would have reduced the rebate to $500, without clearly saying that we'd have to pay $3000 more overall. The paperwork person also tried to get us to buy various warranties at the last minute with no time to research them. A more respectful approach would be to include those options in the correspondence I had with Emileigh, but of course that wouldn't trick as many people into buying things they don't need. The dealership itself 1) forgot to put the temporary license plate on the car, and 2) forgot to get the second key from our trade-in car before we left, so I had to mail it. The above is basically what I expect from a car dealership, so Gladstone met my expectations, and otherwise, buying the car was a good experience. They gave our toddler a balloon, offered to help transfer stuff from our old car to the new one, and were willing not to spend time explaining the whole car to us when we needed to leave to get lunch for the toddler. More

I had the absolute great fortune of meeting Kristen DeMars at Toyota Gladstone and all of my fears and generalizations about car salespeople were totally obliterated. Kristen is the real deal. Someone who isn't just trying to "get you into a car today" but someone who genuinely cares about helping you achieve your goals and who wants you to walk away happy. I am a Realtor and I know the difference between someone who really cares about their customers and someone who is looking for a quick sale. Her # is in my phone and I now tell people I have a Toyota person for them if they need someone. We just purchased our second Toyota, a new Highlander, and I didn't even think about another brand because we just wanted to work with Kristen. We are 1000% satisfied, will refer her to everyone, and I'll be back for sure. More
