Overall my experience was acceptable considering what I expect from car dealerships. I was mildly upset that the terms of the offer I was given changed when I came back the following day; however, they ha expect from car dealerships. I was mildly upset that the terms of the offer I was given changed when I came back the following day; however, they had the car that I wanted (very difficult to find currently) and they knew it. So, I cannot fault them for trying to extract as much from the deal as they possibly could. Ultimately, I am happy with the deal and the vehicle I purchased from them. My real issue is after the fact... the vehicle I purchased had damage to the front bumper from a snow plow in the lot prior to my arrival to look at the truck. Of course, the salesman assured me that the damage would be fixed at no cost to me. It was promised that the arrangements would be made on my behalf; however, when I reached out to the salesman directly, I received no communication back. I called the dealership several times and reached out to the salesman personally with no response. I was able to schedule the repair with the service department myself, but come to find out I was never given a "we owe" slip informing the service department that the sales department was to pay for the repair. This required another trip back to the dealership to speak with a sales manager. Ultimately the repair was completed and paid for by the dealership as promised, but I was very disappointed in the fact that several promises were made during the buying process and I was then ignored after the paperwork was signed. As a result, the new car we purchased for my wife last week was from a different Toyota dealership. Toyota of Hackensack lost my future business as a result of my being ignored. More
