No pressure car buying. I was very pleased with the recent purchase of my leased car. I went in a few months earlier and met with Jay. I explained that I was just seeing wh I was very pleased with the recent purchase of my leased car. I went in a few months earlier and met with Jay. I explained that I was just seeing what my options were and wanted to wait until my lease was up to decide what to do. He only contacted me once through email and waited for me to make up my mind. When I finally went in he was helpful finding me the best option. I am very happy with my new car. More

Bait and Switch! Inquired about a 2017 Highlander. Received a call from Internet Sales stating car was here. I negotiated a price and came in. Surprisingly, the vehicl Inquired about a 2017 Highlander. Received a call from Internet Sales stating car was here. I negotiated a price and came in. Surprisingly, the vehicle was not there! Instead they wanted to sell me a different color. Sales Person Elvis Lopez said car was sold just now. I reached out to Internet Sales and they said they took a deposit the night before. Why would you call me today and tell me the car is available, give me a deal and bring me in if the car had a deposit the night before? If you’re going to lie to your customers, get the story straight. Horrendous customer service. I’m a loyal Toyota customer with over 5 Toyota purchases and this just ruined it for me. Buyers beware. More

No Warm Fuzzy Feeling Here I had two bad experiences with Toyota of Hackensack. I looked at a bunch of used cars in person and when it got down to discussing pricing was tol I had two bad experiences with Toyota of Hackensack. I looked at a bunch of used cars in person and when it got down to discussing pricing was told each car included a fee they called TLP or total loss protection but is more commonly known as gap insurance. I was paying cash, not financing, so the insurance was pointless. I was told this was non-negotiable. I gave my best price (without TLP), the sales associate went to his manager then came back, handed me a business card and said goodbye. No discussion or counter. A few weeks later I called up about one of the cars I had seen, which had now been on the lot for 70 days unsold. I asked to speak to a manager but the sales associate wouldn't let that happen. I asked what the best price they could do on the car was - got the typical spiel that their pricing is competitive. I said I could point to a few online cars that were very comparable but priced lower. The sales associate asked me to email the examples, which I did. She said she'd get right back to me but I never heard back. A follow-up email also went unanswered. All in all, my experience with this dealership was pretty poor though I will say that they have a lot of used inventory. More
