Thank you for your feedback. When we were notified that the key for the Tundra was not working, we offered a to order a cylinder for the bed. You wanted to a fix immediately which was not possible. If a particular part is not in stock, arrival of the part does take several days. Dealers are also in an environment where parts may not be readily available in some scenarios. You were not "cheated" in anyway. As your review mentions, we did order the cylinder for the key to address the issue for the bed. Whether or not you can make the truck available to fix the issue hahttps://www.dealerrater.com/dp/18041/reviews#s nothing to do with the dealership. We have done everything possible to address the issue when it was brought to our attention.

Thank you for the response. Clearly you don’t think it’s important to inspect a vehicle you’re selling to ensure all is operational. The tail gate lift, if not locked can be stolen in minutes, the cover which is much pricier to replace also can be stolen rather quickly and all because the tailgate cannot be locked. My concern was initially the contents, however after researching, clearly due to my inexperience the contents would have been the least of my worries. If you were aware of defects, it certainly wasn’t communicated which says a lot. Unfortunately now, after this weeks heavy rains I also realize the cover which is installed by Toyota, all Toyota parts, allows water to get in, wetting all my contents. It’s unfortunate, to be honest, I blame myself for being an uneducated buyer and putting my trust in Toyota.

You are making the assumption that the lock was broken when we received the vehicle which you have no basis for. Parts like anything else can go bad at anytime. Again, we offered to replace the cylinder at no cost to you. You decided to have your friend address the issue because you could not wait. At this point we not only have tried to assist you, we have exhausted our resources to assist you as it seems there is no pleasing you. We wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors.
