At my very first service warranty appointment my brand new car was scratched on the hood by mechanic during service . We discovered this in the lot. I told Annie in Service who then took photos and sent new car was scratched on the hood by mechanic during service . We discovered this in the lot. I told Annie in Service who then took photos and sent the car to get the grease off the hood. The car came back still showing at least 4 scratches on the hood top. She then talked to her manager & after discussions l/m that it could go to the auto shop to be repaired at my next service appointment due in May or bring it back & leave it for repair. I reside in Tehachapi and this is very inconvenient and so disappointing that this happened to my brand new car. So I have to return and have the repair when I can schedule a return trip.I will say Annie Vodegel was trying to help but still I'm disappointed that the scratches were not immediately brought to my attention but instead left to me to discover. This is not "Toyota Cares". Plus the $5k additional charge is a burden to the consumer looking for a new car. More

My service provider was helpful but didn’t not update me in a timely manner about services done. Additionally services kept me there from 10am to almost 6pm with little to no notification and updates. I had in a timely manner about services done. I had to hunt down any available providers to assist me to get updates and services took WAY too long. I had a scheduled service appointment and I’m a bit baffled how an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and two filter changes took 8 HOURS. I am considering other service locations as this was completely unacceptable. The only saving grace was my service provider was a sweetheart who did her best considering the circumstances to get me out of there. Your whole system and reasonable maintenance timeline needs to be overhauled and evaluated so more reasonable wait times can be achieved. Otherwise services were completed to satisfactory standards.
