We understand your concern that you believed the issue was present when you purchased the vehicle and expected it to be addressed. We do want to clarify that warranty coverage and repair authorization are based on the applicable warranty terms and the vehicle’s coverage at the time the concern is diagnosed. If the component was determined to be outside of warranty coverage at the time of your second visit, the repair would require customer authorization. We also regret any confusion regarding the notes or communication about the concern. We take these matters seriously and want to make sure there is a clear understanding of what was documented, what was inspected, and what coverage was available. We appreciate your feedback and would welcome the opportunity to review the history with you and clarify any outstanding questions.
