While driving Sat morning, my check engine light went on for the first time in 6yrs. I had just gone over 200,000 on my RAV4, which was my first Toyota I actually bought someplace other than Lancaster Toyota :) Got it in OC. I had to scurry that Sat afternoon and get a rental car. Made appointment for Tues morn at Toyota and I informed PB! that I would drive my car over to Toyota. The shady manager told me my car was making noise. I told him it wasn't making any noise when I drove it in. On Tues morn armed with coffee I drove 40mph from Palmdale Blvd to Lancaster Toyota. The engine light was off and no noise. Toyota did keep the car for two (2) days and on a slightly bad note, the Service Manager Chanin did not get back to me all day when I called 4x because the other Rep I checked in with was out. But by Thurs morn I was informed that there was only a slight error message in the computer and nothing wrong with my car and I was actually not charged for the diagnostic. They drove it 45mi on the freeway at 65mph. Did think it is weird that they do not need express permission for that? After I returned rental down the street and walked over there, have had no issues with my car since then. No light or noises. And would like to special mention many thanks to the Shuttle driver who took me back to PB in Palmdale where I left the rental and then I accidently left my cell phone in the back and he rescued it for me and turned it into the service desk. More
Awesome service and attention to cust satisfaction , not too long to wait for truck to be diagnosed and fixed. Jobs that are task oriented but require people interaction require good people skills. Forgetting to greet and guide customers is of most importance. I was told what in the launch and assumed to know where that was. When my car was ready the cashier did ask if everything was going well. Not even a good morning. just gave me the receipt. Did not told me where to pick up my car. When I asked her she just pointed to the outside. When I went outside there was nobody there helping you. This service department expects you to go find your car in the parking lot. They dont give you the keys at this point so no way to even click it to try to find it. The guy who I was assigned initially was there and saw me looking lost. Didnt bather asking if I needed help. I had to go stand in front of him to ask him. Very poor service. More

Wait time :( I was forced to wait 40 mins in line to drop off my car even though I had an appointment. Great Service Service Manager Chanin was her usual friendly self. I was at Toyota to get my car an oil change and she treated me like was was dealing with a major Service Manager Chanin was her usual friendly self. I was at Toyota to get my car an oil change and she treated me like was was dealing with a major repair. She takes every request like it was a major event and that makes me feel like she really cares. I also like that she schedules you so that the wait time is never too long. She also took my immediate request and replaced my windshield wipers. I always recommend Chanin to my friends. More
