HORRIBLE customer service from their "manager". I went HORRIBLE customer service from their "manager". I went to this dealership on the recommendation of the CarPro Show. I was told that my VIP pass w HORRIBLE customer service from their "manager". I went to this dealership on the recommendation of the CarPro Show. I was told that my VIP pass would allow for a hassle free, straightforward experience. That was not the case. The salesperson was great. The manager, Sergio, however was horrible. Upon agreeing to the price with the sales person I was presented a piece of paper with the sales price, added charges without a line item description and a payment that was almost twice the amount that it should have been. No interest rate listed, no explanation of the added charges. I asked the sales person to break it down, he went and got Sergio and to break it down for me. Sergio not only refused to tell me what the breakdown was, but kept stating the payment was based on credit and down payment. I continued to ask to see the breakdown and he began getting very upset that I was asking. I told him that I am simply asking for a breakdown of the information and he refused to tell me. He did say however that the $3000 charge with no line item was a warranty that by law he had to charge me (xx). My wife and I said if we aren't going to get the information we were done. He said good he was glad, he grabbed the papers and walked off. The total conversation maybe lasted 5 minutes. The director came over and brought the information to me as I was walking out. Not surprising to us, Sergio was presenting numbers that were false and shady. The payment he presented was over $200 more than what the director presented. Sergio said the warranty had to be charged, which we knew was a lie, and we were right, it was removed. I highly DO NOT recommend this dealership based solely on the treatment and lies we received from Sergio. Had the car not been a great value, we would have walked away. The director saved the sale by offering the information up front that I asked for in the first place and taking care of a few things in addition to that. I understand people are trying to make money, but there is ZERO reason to be disrespectful, rude and condescending when a customer is simple asking for numbers and a breakdown to better understand a deal. I can only imagine how many people don't ask questions and are simply taken advantage of at this place. More
