Took the car for a basic oil change and they come back telling me my car suddenly won’t start. Say it’s the battery and quote me $350. I am tired and disappointed by this experience. I understand people get backed up. I understand parts may be hard to come by. I understand it takes time to get things done but this experience was sho understand people get backed up. I understand parts may be hard to come by. My vehicle was taken to this shop around August 12th--barring the initial contact follow up/ customer service was abysmal The inability of staff to simply respond to questions (only X knows the status, I cannot update you on the file, they can't answer that question either, he is off but I will make sure....) was unacceptable. I've never dealt with a situation 1) where only one person could help me 2) the people I chanced to get on the phone would transfer me away immediately and refuse to answer questions or 3) the person in charge of my file would call to complain and question my reasons for attempting to simply get a status update. In the near month you had my vehicle: I called 20+ times, emailed a handful and have records for texts sent at least every few days which I can provide--with lackluster response bordering on willful negligence. And if I may add, don't call paying customers "young man" in some sort of power move--I treated you with nothing but respect, I expect the same. Lastly, my initial repair estimate was for $4200. Around the 20th I contacted the servicer to ask about the status of the repair and was told it would be roughly a week to get my vehicle back. On the 23rd I was informed that the adjuster had to come back as an additional part was needed and it would be delayed further (no additional documentation/estimates were provided). I was never contacted about the additional parts beforehand (which cost over 3k) and to go around me and speak to insurance only is shady. To add insult to injury you left dirt and dealer tags/trash in my truck. I would never recommend the service department of this dealership again--to anyone. P.S. Angel was awesome and offered to set me up with a rental due to the timeframe. Jerry called the next day to state that actually it was a $43/per day cost--it was really too much to hope you would make any effort to make my experience better More
