I was a little apprehensive to go to this dealership considering the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend Gary & Jason, our salespeople, for their knowledge and their non-pushiness. Kathy, the sales manager, was soo helpful and great to work with. I start this as an internet search and was impressed by their quick response and friendly attitude. My husband and I went to look at a used Coralla, we werent going to make a purchase that day and told the salesperson and manager this several times. We test drove the car and liked it somewhat. We wanted to see what the payments would be reminding the sales staff we werent buying that day. Jason the salesperson was very nice and informative not pushy at all. The next day we received 3 calls and an email within 2 hours. I emailed the credit manager stating that we werent ready to purchase, stil I received several calls after on my cell phone, then they decided to call my work phone. The first call I told the lady I was at work and to call me after 5 on my cell,she did not. The next day I received another call on my job from someone different and I told them this was my work and not to bother calling again I would not be purchasing a car from them. This was very distrubing to be harrassed about a car on my job especially when they had been told I was not ready to buy. Beware if you visit the dealership and dont buy from them they will harrass you! More
I've been shopping for a new car for six months. I saw the tv add and thought "why not"? I called and the internet sales manager Mark answered. After only a few minutes, I knew I had the right guy! Mark and I talked about my current situation and how he could help. He wasn't the normal "car salesman"-he talked with me-not "at me" like so many other salesman. He invited me in that day-Mark greeted me and after explaining how he could help, he introduced me to Travis(very nice young man)who took me right to the car I wanted. Then I meet Chris(sales manager)who put it all together. The entire process took less than 1 hour and I drove away with my new Camry. I'm so proud of it!!! Thank you Mark, Travis and Chris. I WILL recommend anyone to Toyota of North Charlotte. THANK YOU! More
I had called previously to my visit to inquire about a car I had seen on their website. I was eagerly greeted by Mark who told me the car had not yet been sold and asked when I would like to visit. I traveled from my home in Waxhaw, NC to Huntersville, a distance of about 55 miles. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted and shown to a seat. After a few basic questions, I was shown the vehicle I had inquired about and took a test drive. The entire process took several hours, but it didn't seem that long. Everyone was eager to help me through the process and couldn't have been nicer. My sister and I were asked if we wanted refreshments and were never left alone very long while the deal was being put together. I already had financing from my bank, which I thought was very good, but they were able to beat my bank rate. The overall experience was very enjoyable, I felt very special and I had been dreading an endless visit to buy a car! More

I dealt with Mark at the beginning in negotiations for a 2011 Toyota Camry LE Sedan. I had the specs needed and he totally complied with my wishes. When I arrived at the dealership, Kim met me and went through the car in detail. She was knowlegeable and friendly. Samantha competently followed up with all the pertinent paperwork, and post sale delivery. At delivery, both James and Paul, one of the owners, made a point to come out and make sure I was happy and satisfied. Throughout the process, everyone I came in contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was a pleasure to work with this dealership. I will be back to buy another vehicle. My overall experience with this dealer was okay. The used vehicle I was looking for (trim level and options) was hard to find. Prior to leaving, we received a call from Mark the internet sales manager. My spouse and I drove an hour and a half to get there. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Greg Z and Vicki Wall. They were expecting us. One gripe I have was with the salesperson, Vicki Wall. While test driving the car, Vicki talked the ENTIRE time. Neither my spouse nor I could effectively listen to the car nor could we talk to each other because Vicki was talking. We didn't travel 1.5 hours to listen to Vicki. So if you read this Vicki, remember, customers aren't there to buy you. So please be quiet unless they ask you a question. Then when you get back to the dealer and park, that's your time to talk about the car (not unrelated matters). The actual sales deal was with Greg Z. Greg was polite and not high pressure. We got a decent trade-in value for our car. There was no budging on the listed price for their car. However, we did get a very good interest rate. This dealer does have an expensive "dealer costs" also known as hidden fees as compared to other dealers. We were then handed off to yet a third person. Her name was Jennifer and she handled the signing of all the paperwork. There was alot of paperwork. She acted less than thrilled to be there. I will admit, it was around 11:00 p.m. on a Saturday night, and we were all tired, but her attitude could have been a bit more positive. At the end of the night, I feel like we got a fair price on the car. For the most part, the staff was friendly. They didn't have to work too hard for the sale. And I appreciated them staying so late. The next business day, Mark (internet sales) called for a follow-up. That was curteous (but he sure is a fast, smooth talker). More
I arrived at Toyota of North Charlotte with the expectation that I would test drive a few of the 2010 and 2011 Toyota SUVs but not purchase one. A young attendant in the parking lot greeted me with a smile and firm handshake and asked what I was looking for in a car. He was knowledgeable about the three vehicles we looked at: Highlander, 4Runner, and Sequoia, and answered adeptly questions I had about the differences between these vehicles. I opted to test drive a couple of them and really enjoyed the 4Runner. What struck me most about the attendant was his honesty-- based on the factors I was seeking, he suggested that the base-level 4Runner model (the SR5 w/ third row) fit my needs more than the more expensive Sport, Trail, or Limited versions. After our test drive he took me inside to speak with Tom and Paul & Joe from the sales and mgmt teams. After discussing pricing options and financing alternatives, we negotiated a sales price that I was happy with (even though I had arrived at the dealership without the intent to purchase). I decided to add leather to the seats and tint to the windows, and the Toyota team was able to finish both these jobs very quickly. I am very happy with the finished product and plan to return to purchase automobiles here in the future. This is the third Toyota vehicle my family has bought from this team, and I would not be posting this review if we were not 100% satisfied in every respect for each of those purchases, from discussing the vehicles to competitive pricing to excellent maintenance service post-purchase.
