had one of the worst service experiences ever at Toyota of Rock Hill, specifically with my service advisor Austin. I had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 AM for a simple oil change, and somehow it took almo of Rock Hill, specifically with my service advisor Austin. I had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 AM for a simple oil change, and somehow it took almost 7 hours. That is completely unacceptable. Not only was the service extremely slow, but it also wasn’t done properly as promised. When I called to get an update, I was told my car was “nowhere to be found.” That is alarming and extremely unprofessional. No one should ever have to hear that about their own vehicle. I didn’t get my car back until 4:00 PM, for a service that should take an hour at most. There was no communication, no accountability, and no sense of urgency or respect for my time. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend trusting this location or this advisor with your vehicle. More

Service advisor looked at our unique driving history and made service recommendations accordingly. Work was done quickly. One big advantage of having service work done at Toyota of Rock Hill is that if a pr made service recommendations accordingly. Work was done quickly. When you arrive expect to be greeted and asked if you want an alignment. Not an alignment check; an alignment. The advisor said Toyota recommends it (they don’t). In fact the dealerships website recom want an alignment. Not an alignment check; an alignment. The advisor said Toyota recommends it (they don’t). In fact the dealerships website recommends it every 2-3 yrs or with new tires or when issues are noticed. They also say the tire manufacturers recommend it (they don’t). So for my 20k service I asked to have my full size spare tire cycled w/ my tire rotation only to be told there is an additional charge. I found that odd as it was requested at 5k and 10k and 15k (when I was also told an alignment was recommended). Well it seems only 1 of the 3 previous times did the advisor note and tech actually perform said request. I have a few more free service appointments, and to be fair the dealer is not that horrible; just par for the course for shady dealerships claiming you need waste money. On the sales side the dealer played a lot of games too. After test driving we got a quote with several grand in markups only for the salesman to ask what they can do to earn my business when they found out we were buying a Toyota at another dealer (not as close).
