I bought a Certified Preowned Rav4 from this dealership. It’s a good vehicle but the service I’ve received has been terrible. I have complete buyer’s remorse from my experience. When negotiating the price on the vehicle, they did not budge stating it was Certified Pre-Owned and this cost them money, blah, blah, blah. Fine. They upsold me on the $1600.00 Platinum Package VSA/extended warranty. I bit on this too, expecting this would give me total peace of mind on my vehicle. Boy was I wrong. As soon as I got the vehicle home I noticed the windshield wiper fluid reservoir was empty. Pretty shoddy on the dealership’s part. I filled it up and, lo and behold, the sprayers will not spray. I paid premium money for the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and as SOON as I drive it off the lot there’s an issue. I called the service department and explained the situation. I told him I had the Platinum Package. He told me it would be $130.00 just to assess the issue. This is ridiculous, considering the Platinum Package VSA clearly states a $50.00 deductible. So the service guy either didn’t know what he was talking about. I told him I thought it was pretty ridiculous that a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle—supposedly subjected to 100+ point of inspection—would have issues fresh off the lot. He referred me back to the sales guy, Alan. Alan told me to bring it in to service. I appreciate the fact that he promptly got back to me, but it’s still on me to do the legwork get someone over there who cares at all about making things right for me. I tried calling the Service Department several times and there is no one there and no voice mail I tried to schedule online, but the system forces you to add a 50K service package to your cart before you can schedule service. RIDICULOUS. You seriously cannot schedule service online without selecting a product and adding it to the cart. So yeah, I’ve had it. The service sucks. They got my money and have only tried to milk me for more, even though I’ve owned the car for less than a month. Do not, do not, DO NOT deal with these people. There is a silver lining to this cloud. I have 30 days from the date of purchase to cancel the extended warranty I purchased. I plan to go up there this weekend and cancel it. Because there is one thing that will bring me better peace of mind than the overpriced 100,000 mile extended warranty, and that is never having to ever deal with these people again. More

Carl Miller, our Sales Consultant, was very knowledgeable about the Rav4 we were interested in and later purchased from Toyota of Rockwall. Carl was also able to answer all our questions and even gave us a guided tour of the entire facility. My wife and I were very impressed. Everyone we had contact with at the dealership was helpful, and especially courtesy. My wife and I agree that Carl Miller was responsible for our purchasing our new Toyota from Toyota of Rockwall and not from other Toyota Dealerships we visited. More
