First and foremost, I am a Subaru guy. I know the FR-S is almost the exact same car as the BR-Z, but I really wanted the Subaru. I've purchased Subarus from both Wyoming Valley Motors and Minooka Subaru. is almost the exact same car as the BR-Z, but I really wanted the Subaru. I've purchased Subarus from both Wyoming Valley Motors and Minooka Subaru. I was hesitant to deal with a non-Subaru dealership. Let me just say boy was I wrong. Jenna's internet response was incredibly fast, courteous, and professional. She made sure you still had what I was interested in and was not overly pushy. Nor did she harass me like some internet sales teams have in the past. Due to this, I got over all trepidation regarding a non-Subaru dealership. Had Jenna not made a great impression, I don't know that I would have come in. Mike was my salesman. He mentioned at one point he's a recent transfer from Motorworld. In my opinion he is a keeper. I know Scion is a "no haggle" purchase. Nor did I try. But the impression I got of Mike was that he would still give the customer something while keeping something for the dealer. I may only be 31, but I've already been involved in about 7 $20k+ vehicle purchases. I always got my vehicles for significantly under MSRP and in most cases below invoice. I know how the game works and how to play it. I am confident if you could negotiate a Scion's price that I would have hated dealing with Mike, which in my opinion is the highest praise I can give to any salesman. Mike was just also very personable and relateable in general. Hands down the friendliest sales person I've dealt with. I can't speak highly enough of Michael. My finance man was I believe Howard Sweeny. Howard did a great job securing me the best rate possible. I brought in what I thought based upon my research was the best rate I was going to achieve. Howard was able to find a bank, and a local bank at that, that blew all of the other national banks out of the water. He also did an excellent job explaining every piece of paper that was being signed in terms anyone could understand. Overall, Toyota of Scranton was an excellent experience. When I'm next in the market for another vehicle, which hopefully for my sake isn't for at least 6-8 years, I will definitely be giving the Rav4 and any other AWD Toyota's a look. The sheer friendliness and ease of working with you has at least made you a viable option in the future for this Subaru guy and his family. More
I chose to go to Toyota of Scranton because that is where I purchased my Corolla 7 years ago. I would have kept my Corolla but I was running out of room with my two children. I decided to look at a pre-own Camry but when I got to the dealership with employee pricing day I decided to go for my dream car Camry Hybrid. They worked with me on pricing the best they could where it was affordable for me. The follow ups are great because as a new purchase sometimes you are too excited and you overlook things. A couple of days later I had questions and was able to get them answered. I like how nobody forgot about me right after my purchase. This car is going to be with me for many years to come and its great to know that the customer service will be too! Thanks again!!!! More

Our 6th Toyota, and 3rd RAV4 (a 2013 Limited)...from entering the building, everyone was friendly and greeted us by name. While waiting, various team members stopped to chat like old friends - even the entering the building, everyone was friendly and greeted us by name. There were many warranty and coverage options presented, but we never felt pressured or coerced - we were free to choose only what was pertinent to us. Other brands and models might catch our eye, but when we consider the whole picture, pre- and post-sale, Toyota Scranton is the only team able to cover all of our vehicle needs. More
I went into the dealership knowing that I needed a new car but that was pretty much it. Being a single mom I was certain I was going to duped into something that was over priced and not what I needed. Kei car but that was pretty much it. I was happy with my sales experience at Toyota Scion, but the finance department (Ken) leaves little to be desired.. Billy M. was very good salesman. I dread car shopping due to having to deal with "salesmen" and he has made it a better experience, finally! I have many bad experiences and have yet to go to same dealer or salesman twice. I would come back to deal with Billy again. He took time to explain and no pressure involved and got payment and vehicle I wanted. My words to him were "I love the Rav4 but love the price of the CRV, I also looked at", an that seemed to matter to him. My hesitation lies with the finance dept, Ken who I dealt with...and if there is a future purchase will not deal with him again. I understand that the unpleasant part of purchasing a car (financing), is his job and not an always pleasant one, but by the end of my dealing with him...my only thoughts were "maybe I should cancel this deal and go back to Matt Burne Honda". It appeared that Ken was thoroughly annoyed that I did not spend extra money to purchase the GAP insurance. I'm not sure if it was because I was a female, alone, financing a car that he thought he could intimidate me into it or if that is his stern approach with all customers. But it made a strong impression in my memory, leaving my overall GREAT car experience, only a GOOD one now. I needed a certain car payment and Billy made this happen. I told Ken I could not afford more and he continued to try to get me to purchase GAP insurance. I would recommend Toyota and Billy to others but will strongly caution anyone needing to finance through Toyota Scion and having to experience Ken. Thank you More
