As a military family, one thing we hate more than the moving process is car buying. Dealerships and salesmen often leave us with a feeling of distrust and frustration. Our experiences at Trent with Ron Polk are quite different. We purchased our first car from Trent last year. This is when we met Ron and learned what amazing customer service feels like. My spouse stayed at home with our children as getting a new vehicle at the height of Covid was quite frightening. Ron made this process so easy. He went out of his way to drive the vehicle to our home so my spouse could have a test drive without having to bring the kids out. After we purchased this car, he even followed me home in the new vehicle so I wouldn’t have to leave our other vehicle sitting in the dealership parking lot. A year later, We found ourselves in the market for another vehicle and were searching for a specific make and model. We reached out to Ron at Trent and told him what we were looking for. Since Trent didn’t have that particular model at the time, we attempted to search at other dealerships. This search elsewhere reminded us of why we hate car buying. The salesmen were either overly aggressive or they were completely unwilling to negotiate. Now I understand that this economy has it as a sellers market but the buyer still wants to feel included in the price negotiations. Frustrated with the 3 other locations we dealt with, I came back to Ron at Trent, willing to wait for as long as it takes for my specific car to show up on his lot. When that vehicle did finally arrive as a trade-in, Ron called to give me the details before it even made it to the sales lot! After buying this car, Ron continued to go above and beyond and had the “acceptable” tires replaced with brand new ones! We had already purchased the car and he still continued to enhance our experience. He personally drove this car to our home after it had been fully detailed so we would not have to come back that evening to pick it up. Hands down the best car experiences we have ever had. Please go to Trent and ask for Ron Polk. He is truly an exception. More
