Let me say that prior to this purchase, I was NOT a fan of the car buying experience as we have had some really sleazy salespeople and shady happenings at dealerships causing me mistrust most salespeople. Tyson Motors and Larry restored my faith in purchasing an automobile. There was no pressure and no gimmicks. I live a couple hours away and was able to work an amazing deal over the phone that worked out for Tyson Motors and myself. Larry was extremely upfront, as was I with what I could afford to pay for the truck. Once we agreed on the price, we jumped in the car and drove the two hours to the dealership; we were pleasantly greeted and shown to the truck. Within minutes, we were test driving the vehicle. The entire time, I was waiting for some sort of "trick" because of prior experiences. NOPE-DIDN'T HAPPEN-we went back to the showroom, signed the paper work on the agreed upon price. Next, we went into the finance office with Lindsay and she was awesome, no high-pressure sales pitch, just straight forward honesty from her and Larry. After signing the finance agreements, Larry walked us back out to the truck and went over all the functions and options so my wife and I could fully understand and enjoy the vehicle. Larry even synced my phone with the truck's computer (which is awesome because I am not particularly tech savvy). Many salesmen would've just sent us on our way after the deal was done, but Larry made sure we knew how everything worked and functioned before we left the dealership. Needless to say, but I could not be happier with my experience with Larry, Lindsay, and Tyson Motor Corporation. I am not one to write reviews, but I felt so good about my experience, especially when compared to previous car buying experiences, that I wanted to share with everyone. I would highly recommend Larry and Tyson Motors to all my friends and family. We enjoyed the experience so much, we will most likely make the two hour drive for our next purchase. Larry is straightforward and honest, no gimmicks. Thanks to everyone at Tyson Motors for a great experience. I got the truck of my dreams for a great deal-I couldn't be happier!! Patrick V. I had a small issue that needed to be addressed by the service department. Chris was very nice and checked out my concern and the small problem was fixed.. He was very pleasant to work with. The only negative is I took the extended warrantee at the time of purchase. I wish I had not done that because two weeks later I received an offer from Chrysler/Moped for and additional 25,000 miles for the same time frame and price I paid at Tyson. I sent an email including the offer to two different people at Tyson regarding this, and no one had the courtesy to reply. So, the moral of the story is -- don't buy the extended warrantee at time of purchase. I am giving Steve Klimara a three star rating because of this even though he was pleasant at the time of purchase. Also, the interest rate he offered was high. I would suggest if you are going to take a loan for a new car, you check with your bank and make sure you are getting the best deal. More
Took car in for some front end work. Front end of my 2009 Charger felt loose and clunked when hitting bumps. Found out I needed struts and numerous other parts. Just about everything was covered by my extended warranty. A very pleasant experience. Chris was my service repesentative and was very thorough. Communication was great. He kept me informed of the parts that were needed, the cost of the repairs and the time fra me to finish the job. His attention to the customer was second to none. No better dealer in the area. Bought my first truck from Tyson in January of 2017 (Ram Pick up) and this past month the wife and I decided to upgrade her car to a Chrysler Pacifica Bought my first truck from Tyson in January of 2017 (Ram Pick up) and this past month the wife and I decided to upgrade her car to a Chrysler Pacifica. Against my better judgement I gave a few other dealerships in the area a chance (some up to 40 miles away) as they had 2017 dealer demo's available for what I thought were good prices. After being lied to on the phone and via e mail about the prices and interest rates, I called Andy at Tyson, told him the situation and he reiterated to me that Tyson does not play those games. So after wasting two Saturdays and a weeknight at other dealerships, I got back to my senses. Went to Tyson on a Friday night after work and drove home in the new van. Even better, I got a better price from Tyson for the van and my trade on a brand new 2018 version with no miles and was in and out of there faster than I've ever been at any other dealership when buying a vehicle. Trust me when I say that you will never find better service, prices or people anywhere in Chicagoland. I tried to find them, they simply don't exist. From Andy (salesman) to Jim (manager) and even Steve (finance) the entire experience restored my faith in car buying. Tyson is the best! More

Within a very short time he emailed me that he found what we wanted and that he could get it for us. This was after several visits to other dealerships without any timely follow up from them. I was so impressed at how promptly he replied to our questions. It was worth our time to make the hour drive to Tyson Motor. It was a pleasure working with Jason, Aaron the Manager and Steve in the Finance office. We were most impressed with the fact that we were not told one thing on the phone and another thing when we got there. It was a very straight forward and comfortable experience. More

Service department We dropped your car off for the first time at Tyson motor in Shorewood. We dropped it off on Wednesday night for work to be done on Thursday. I didn’t hear anything from anyone on Thursday so I called at 3 PM and was told I would get a call back and never did. I Called back at 11am on Friday to find out they were just starting on my car. They call me back with a $4000 quote on a bunch other stuff they found ion my car. I called around and got two other quotes that was a quarter of the price. I called and told them we are not going to do anymore work we would come pick up the car. We were told we can come as late as nine on Friday. we didn’t make it we came Saturday at 4:30 when the service department was closed. We were told the ticket was never closed out and we can’t pick the car up till Monday. I was without my car for five days. And my husband has to leave work early so we can pick up the car Monday. Not happy at all with the service. More
