Don Figgs! My wife and I recently purchased a new Cadillac XT6 from Val Ward Cadillac, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our salesperson, Don Figgs, was everything you hope for when purchasing a vehicle. He was professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and, most importantly, completely focused on understanding our needs rather than simply making a sale. At no point did we feel pressured. Instead, Don took the time to listen, answer our questions, and guide us toward the vehicle that was the right fit for us. The entire process was straightforward, transparent, and enjoyable. Module was on back order for 45 days. When it did come into dealer inventory I was not contacted for 5 business days. Service was exceptional and David McKinner was great! Auto was serviced in a timely manner. All the employes are friendly and professional. However, we are very disappointed that the Valet service was Auto was serviced in a timely manner. All the employes are friendly and professional. However, we are very disappointed that the Valet service was discontinued. This was the main reason we purchased from Val Ward and a Cadillac and not a Lexus. We live over one hour away and bringing the car for service is very inconvenient. More
This was the most pleasant experience Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle, and my first Cadillac purchase. I am a 60 year old woman and was dreading finding a new car due to past experience with high sa purchasing a vehicle, and my first Cadillac purchase. I am a 60 year old woman and was dreading finding a new car due to past experience with high sales pressure, being talked down to due to my being a female and during signing of the contract the pressure of the extended warranties and after market sales. I went out with the plan of looking at 4 different brands of vehicles in one day. All comparable SUVs with different features. I started at Val Ward. I was greeted by Jose. I was upfront and probably a bit guarded when I explained my situation and plan. He was undaunted and simply walked me out to the lot to show me available cars and explain features and differences. We spent an hour together. He was kind, made me completely comfortable, and said good bye while I ventured off to the other 3 dealerships. After a FULL WEEK, test driving several cars, and doing a bit more research, I chose the 2025 XT6. I reached out to Jose and made an appt to come in and look again at options. I would like to note that besides saying "Thank you for visiting" He left me alone that whole week. I cannot say the same for the other dealerships and brands. Jose only made himself available for questions I had. I showed up to our appt and Jose showed me the options on the lot and I narrowed it down to 2 vehicles. Then we crunched a few numbers and I chose the vehicle I wanted. After our appt, I went home, carried on about my day and Jose checked in with me a couple times. The next morning I showed up to my new car detailed and filled with gas. After another employee treated me to another exceptional experience signing papers with agreed upon pricing and zero pressure on after market warranties or options, I got my keys. I must note that the person who I signed papers with was very good with explaining options, then accepting my yes or no answer. She did not push me or make me feel stupid for not choosing something. After all the signing was done Jose spent a good 30 minutes with me showing me options, setting up the car to fit me properly and explaining that if I had further questions I was welcome to come in to get another lesson. The whole experience was amazing. I am sold on the Cadillac experience as a whole. More
