As a 50-year-old family business, we have a great group of people under our roof that are here to help, and we apologize if there was some miscommunication that attributed to your feelings of such maliciousness where there has been none. We want every client to adore their new vehicle, and we are truly sorry if you do not, but we have been very transparent with you regarding your Cadillac. As a new owner, we can certainly appreciate the desire for a flawless ownership experience with faultless reliability. Modern autos of all types are an intricate blend of technology and mechanics, that will sometimes necessitate a service visit whether it’s a software update, recall campaign, or other customer concern. We do know dealerships are not the most efficient use of any owner’s time, which is why we try to minimize any inconvenience through amenities such as Cadillac loaner vehicles or concierge pickup/drop off. In the case of the noise coming from your front strut, as a covered warranty item there was no question it would be corrected as quickly as possible. (Cadillac’s warranty is one of the best in the business) We can assure you the parts involved with your repair were not a safety concern nor an impact on the drivability of your vehicle. Our Service Advisors don’t have access to the same resources our Parts & Service Managers do, which is why your advisor involved his direct manager to help following your visit. He was happy to escalate your case through the proper channels as a goodwill gesture to make sure your vehicle was promptly returned. Every part replaced on your Cadillac was of course brand new, fresh from the OEM, as required by every Cadillac Dealer. We would be more than happy to show you the invoices for each part in question if you would like. Please understand, when a client wishes to explore a buyback or Lemon Law option for their vehicle, we will always direct our customers through the proper steps with the manufacturer to begin that process. Buy-backs are from Cadillac directly, and no employee at the dealership level, can Approve, Deny, or otherwise influence their decision. We would humbly ask that you reconsider that our staff “sabotaged” anything, by merely repairing your vehicle in a timely manner. In an age of corporate company’s throughout the land, our third-generation, family store has been servicing SW Florida for decades and we would not be in business by operating in the ways you have claimed. You are our customer, and we are still more than happy to help you or your family if we can. If we may better assist, please free to call us at your earliest convenience.
