I had a very easy and stressless experience trading in old honda civic for a new one. Before I had my first Honda, I always had very unreliable cars. I would end up investing more money to keep the car old honda civic for a new one. Before I had my first Honda, I always had very unreliable cars. I would end up investing more money to keep the car running than what it was worth. However, since switching to Honda I have never had to question the reliability of the car. I feel comfortable and confident going back to Valley Honda because they always treat you with the up most respect. Joseph Barsalona was very patent and kind with me. I felt as though I could approach him with any questions that I had. With him no question was ever too stupid or beneath him to answer. His follow up care is just as recommendable as well. He seems as someone who takes the time to make sure the job is done right the first time. I am very pleased with Honda's quality of service. If they continue to make good reliable cars with friendly customer service; I don't see any reason to change. More

He shared his expertise, which I not only valued but gave him great credibility in selling me on a car on my first shopping visit to Valley Honda! He gave me his undivided attention. He worked with his sales management to achieve a purchase price that I felt was very fair value. Pat sold me a Honda Fit to complement my existing Odyssey, and is a key reason that I remain a loyal Honda owner. He then followed up with me after my purchase multiple times to answer questions and ensure my satisfaction. I could not ask for a better sales person in Pat Malik. More
When it is time for an auto purchase, Valley Honda is my first and only stop. First, they sell Hondas, which is for numerous reasons (reliability, cost of ownership, fuel efficiency, etc.) is my preferred first and only stop. Secondly, their prices are always very competitive and they carry a large inventory, which equates to options for the carbuyer. They are upfront about what they are able to do with regards to pricing. You will not find a harder working dealership in terms of trying to meet your need (model, price, package, etc.) Lastly, Valley Honda literally falls all over themselves to extend great customer service. This is true from the the moment you are greeted upon arrival until you drive off the lot (and after if you include their excellent service department!). In my dealings with them (3X in the last 6 months), I have found them to be a perfect balance of business and relationship. More

I have been purchasing cars at Valley Honda now since 2007. Although Gerry Pastore was not my salesman on my initial visit (purchase of a 2007 Honda Odyssey), he has served us well since then. A 2009 CRV, 2011 Insight and most recently, our 2012 CRV. Gerry has been there just about every time I have gone in for either service or for a new car and has greeted me like I was a next door neighbor, not only me, but my entire family. He has stayed in the loop for us as well via emails. I go to this dealership exclusively now for my new cars and service. Not only has Gerry been there for me and my family, the service department is second to none and, I feel comfortable that I'm getting the best value for my dollar there. Plus, the facility is immaculately clean and pleasant to the eye both in the showroom and the service bay. For me, that translates to a good customer experience for both sales and service! More

He was of course eager to make the sale, but was honest about that, which I appreciate. He negotiated with me, and even let me test-drive for a few hours over lunch to make sure I wanted it. Thanks Marco! The new service center is also pretty impressive, I must say. They have free Starbucks coffee/tea, and water, and computers to play with while you wait, plus a children's play center. I dropped my car off to get a service that takes half a day, and they drove me to the train station and picked me up - my shuttle driver was so friendly! Plus I got free coffee on the way. I've only had the car for a week, so we shall see how it holds up - but as far as the first car-buying experience goes, I couldn't be happier. More

I contacted Pat Malik with a desire for pricing on a new (2011) Odyssey Touring Elite a year ago today. I had put the purchase "out to bid" with 5 dealers across Chicago. Not only was Pat the most personable (and he remains so long after my purchase), his price was far superior to the others. Pat has continually followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied, and if/when I have a question, I call him and he immediately researches the issue and provides me with guidance. i wo9uld recommend Pat to anybody looking for a new Honda. The guy is the best car salesman I've ever worked with, by far. He earned my trust, which not many car salesmen can do to people. On a second note, I brought my van in for a software upgrade relative to the battery warning a couple weeks ago. The service facility is the most incredible service facility I have ever been in. Wi-fi, Macs, coffee, flat screens, adequate seating. I got more work done in that waiting area than I get done in a full day in my office. Everybody is nice! I don't know how they provide all that service and pricing and remain profitable...but I commend Valley Honda for a job so well done. More
