Fast path to a new car. I was looking for a new car, so I took an Accord out for a test drive, planning to buy in July. Then the brakes on my old car lost most of their stopp I was looking for a new car, so I took an Accord out for a test drive, planning to buy in July. Then the brakes on my old car lost most of their stopping power, and I had to move up my plans to replace the car. The brakes went bad on a Tues. On Friday, I stopped at the dealer because my plans to rent a car from Enterprise fell through, and I needed to get to work. My sales contact Victor was off that day, but James set me up with a CR-V to take to work and back. On Monday Bobby from the Used Car department took my old car for a test drive. The brakes were so poor that the car would have to be towed through the auction site, but they still offered me $2000 as a trade-in, not bad since a working vehicle would have been worth about $3500, and the repair for the brakes was quoted at over $6000 by both a dealership and an independent shop. I bought the new CR-V on that Monday, asking if they could hold my check until Wed so I could transfer money into our bank account, and that was handled without a problem. The whole sales process was condensed down to less than a week. Low pressure from the salesman on the after-market add-ons; I was given a list of the options to look at before the final sale, so I had time to evaluate those. Medium pressure from the business manager to purchase dent/ding insurance and extended warranties. I received a fair price with very little haggling, and I'm much more comfortable driving the CR-V than my old car. This is the second vehicle we have purchased at Valley, and the positive experience with the service department over the past 8 years was one reason I came to them for the new car. More

I called the dealership Saturday morning about a used Honda Pilot my wife saw on-line and was connected to JD. I let him know we would be stopping in if it was still available. He checked on it and called back in just a few minutes and stated that is was. When we arrived JD had the car all ready to look over and test drive. The vehicle was spotless. JD gave us very detailed information about the car. He knows his Honda’s. After the test drive my wife and I were very interested in sitting down with JD to go over a selling price. He gave us a tour of the dealership, which is very impressive. From the moment we met JD he was never pushy about buying. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and likeable. In the end we purchased the Pilot and are extremely happy with it. After the purchase JD sat in the car with us to go over all the instrumentation and showed us how to enter phone numbers on Bluetooth. It was really a great car buying experience and when it’s time to replace our other vehicle we will be going back to Valley Honda to see JD. More
