This was hands down the best experience I have had at a car dealership. The sales manager, Jim, was willing to host an MSRP swap for our Bolt EV to a Bolt EUV. He was very quick with email responses and paperwork filing. We sat down with Dave J. to fill out our paperwork and go over the new car. Dave was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the new EUV we were going to be swapping into. It was nice to have a salesman who knew a lot about electric vehicles. Dave took us outside and showed us how everything worked and went over all the new features. I would reccomend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. I drove from over an hour and a half away, and I will gladly do it again in the future when we buy another car. Other dealerships should strive to treat their customers like Van Bortel Chevrolet has. The sales department is awesome. I bought a 2021 Silverado trail boss. Had it six months and it developed a lifter issue. It's been sitting there for one month and two weeks untouched. I had to go in and physically see the manager because she didn't return my calls. Now when I email her She is telling me your truck will be worked on next. Its still sitting in the parking lot 7/7/21. Oh and promised they would pay the payment because it's been there over a month. No payment made as of yet. My next vehicle will not be from there. More
