I was very happy with my experience at Van Horn. I am a new customer in more than one way. This was my first auto loan and first time new car purchase. Purchasing a vehicle at Van Horn in Plymouth was the most positive experience I've had in the past 40 years at a car dealership. Working with Josh Koon and Josh Devriend was a sincere pleasure. It was obvious from the start of our conversation that their main goal was finding the exact car we requested. Our choice vehicle had specific colors and options that weren't typical with the jeep grand cherokee limited. We were told at another dealership that the car we wanted didn't exist with the options we wanted. Both Josh Koon and Josh Devriend not only guaranteed they would find the vehicle we wanted, but also gave us the option of ordering that vehicle from Jeep is we weren't in a rush, for the same purchase price. Amazingly, Van Horn had the exact vehicle we were seeking on their lot. At no time were we ever asked to purchase something other than what we requested. We were impressed with their inventory of jeep Cherokees which was double of the other dealerships we visited. Van Horn's website was excellent which led us to drive 150 miles to purchase our new jeep. A word of caution. Here are a few things Van Horn will not do for you. (1) They won't chase you around the car lot. (2) They will not bug you with constant emails or phone calls once they obtain your personal information. (3) They won't act like experts. (4) They won't try to sell you something beyond your means or a vehicle you don't want (5) They won't interrupt you when you are talking. (6) They won't tell you that they are the best dealership in the state. (7) They won't waste your time running around trying to find someone who has the final voice with price. (8) They won't inform you that their price is the best price in the state for a vehicle. (9) They won't bad mouth other dealerships. We already know that our future car purchases will be from Van Horn. It is obvious that Van Horn focuses on customer satisfaction. They have it figured out and do things right. We walked away very satisfied especially with our interactions with Josh Kooning and Josh Devriend. More

Reggie is very personal, and made our visit enjoyable. He stayed with us and explained the features on the truck. I had an excellent experience at Van Horn. I started looking online and Sarah Dinkelman was in continuous contact with me via email. I completed the online credit app and Adam Gaedke called me back very quickly. I had my mind set on one vehicle; however, when I came into the store the vehicle was no longer there. I worked with Steve Strehlow to find another vehicle of the exact make and model, I liked it, and I agreed I would get it. Roy was great on getting me financing as I do not have the best credit. I was working with Evert when I realized I did not love the vehicle I was going to be getting and changed my mind. Roy came in and really talked with me about the choices I was making and we agreed to look at a different vehicle, a newer version or what I currently had. Steve and I went on a test drive and I LOVED it. Roy was awesome again on getting me financing. I spent several hours at the store and very much enjoyed working with Steve and Roy, they are great people, and I would recommend them to anyone. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person, and I LOVE the vehicle they helped me get! More
Horrible customer service once you sign. They pester me to sell it to them and upgrade. I have emailed, called and snail-mailed requesting they leave me alone, stop contacting. Can't give enough credit- AWESOME employees. I had been trying to negotiate for 9 MONTHS with various manufacturers. Just when I thought I came to agreements (with my money down) with Toyota, I final been trying to negotiate for 9 MONTHS with various manufacturers. Just when I thought I came to agreements (with my money down) with Toyota, I finally gave up on the 4Runner due to unfulfilled commitments. Much to my surprise, I stumbled upon a Dodge dealer on my way to a Honda dealer. I test drove a Durango and LOVED it!! Still, the dealers around me all wanted to play games and answer my specific questions with canned email responses or they would not respond via e-mail because they "couldn't." You HAD to come in - even with pre-negotiated pricing that they supposedly agreed to. We put in a request for pricing outside of our geography and Roy from Van Horn quickly responded with ANSWERS to our questions!! In about an hour we were able to agree to a price. We drove over 100 miles to get to them. Roy and team stayed 2 hours later than they closed on a Saturday night just to wait for us to arrive!! We got there, signed for the price agreed to within 10 minutes with awesome Evert - who did not pressure us, rather explained all options. Then a fantastic employee (sorry we somehow missed his name) spent 30 minutes explaining the features of our new car to us. He would have stayed longer had we wanted him to. I could write a blog about the horrible experiences I've had in the past 9 months. This is a much better use of my time. Van Horn is AWESOME!! I wish they were closer and I'd have my service team set. IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE TO WI to deal with an honest dealer. Dealers WILL, CAN and DO agree to prices without having you sit in an office for 4 hours beating you down. Give them a try! ...they even did this for Bears fans the day before the big Bears / Packers game!! :o) Thank you Roy, Evert, "Durango Trainer" and team!! More
