I've known Bryan Addie for several years and when I called him to inquire about a vehicle, he did everything he could to "make it happen". He got us a great interest rate and a great price on the car called him to inquire about a vehicle, he did everything he could to "make it happen". He got us a great interest rate and a great price on the car we purchased. All the paperwork was done. Christian and Evert walked us through everything - Christian was very enthusiastic. He was great! We talked with Tanya last, right before we left and she was really friendly! Thank you to all the folks at Van Horn for getting us into a brand new car! We love it! More
I am very disappointed to have to write this negative review about Van Horn. I purchased two vehicles from Van Horn in the past 4 months. One for my girlfriend and one for myself. Both vehicles run great review about Van Horn. I purchased two vehicles from Van Horn in the past 4 months. One for my girlfriend and one for myself. Both vehicles run great and I got good deals on both cars. In fact, at Van Horn Hyundai I got the best deal and the best APR I've ever received. I began to think that I had found a reputable car-dealer whom I can trust and whom I can recommend family and friends to. I recommended my brother go to Van Horn Dodge to purchase a new Jeep. I bought a Jeep Patriot for my girlfriend from them and it has been a very reliable car for us so I thought I would give Van Horn more business. We went down to Plymouth from Appleton (about 1 hour and a half drive) to look at the Jeep he wanted. My brother's credit isn't as great as mine so Van Horn said they would need some time to get financing on the Jeep but they were sure they were going to get it done. The next day, my brother didn't receive any phone calls from the salesman. After a couple of hours, he received a call from the General Manager of Van Horn Dodge asking him if he was still interested in purchasing a Jeep. He explained to the General Manager that he had been waiting for the salesman to return his call to see if he was approved for financing. The General Manager asked if he could call my brother back in 5 minutes as he was going to go see what was happening. He called back and told my brother that he was approved and to come down to Plymouth to get his Jeep. We drove down again in the afternoon (this is my twin brother's and I birthday's that we spent all day driving) and waited to sign the paperwork. After about an hour of just sitting and not being greeted by any of the staff, the Finance Manager who we never worked with before, came and said he had two offers for my brother. One was for a lease and one was a purchase contract, both of the offers were for completely different vehicles. When we asked what happened to the one we test drove, he said it had sold today. I said "How can that be? It's sitting right out there on the lot?". He said I'll go check to see if it is sold. He went to the salesman we were working with who was standing at the Sales Managers counter and then came back and said "The one we were going to give you sold today. The one you test drove is too expensive for you." We simply walked out the door. We were completely baffled. Why was he called and told by the General Manager of the business that he was approved and to come get his Jeep? It did not make sense. I was very frustrated and aggravated at the fact that Van Horn would try such a classic move of Bait-And-Switch on a customer whose family has been buying cars from them. It is totally unacceptable and there is no excuse for it. I thought I had found something that is very hard to find now-a-days: A trustworthy car dealer. It is obvious now that I have not. I was recommending Van Horn to everyone I met who was interested in a new car, now I will do the complete opposite. I was sure that I was going to come to Van Horn to purchase every future vehicle for myself and my girlfriend but now I have to find a different dealer, and most likely that dealer will be Van Horn's competition. I am very disappointed in the way Van Horn treated my brother. The lies and deceitfulness is disgusting and we are considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Good job Van Horn. You just lost multiple life-long customers. More
Normally we have a good experience - fast and friendley. This time my husband (who works 3rd shift) was left in the waiting room for an additional hour before being notified the car was ready. After almost a year a year of research and a lot of time searching the internet I found the exact 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 I was looking for at Van horn Dodge. I spoke with and met many Dodge dealerships searching the internet I found the exact 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 I was looking for at Van horn Dodge. I spoke with and met many Dodge dealerships throughout the country and found Van Horn Dodges’ commitment to excellence far above the rest. The staff at Van Horn was not only trustworthy, but truly committed to ensuring I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. Van Horn eliminated not only the stress and hassle of buying a new car, but saved me time and money with an unbeatable price. The price of a car is was the most surprising element of my buying experience with Van Horn because they clearly displayed a specific price and posted a very through walk-around on YouTube. When a sound system deficiency that was left by the previous owner was identified, Van Horn took immediate action to guaranty my satisfaction from over 2000 miles away. To my point, I had hundreds car buying options at my fingertips, but Van Horn’s commitment to excellence was truly the highest standard I have experienced in any purchase I have made in recent memory. Thanks Josh to you and the Van Horn staff for encouraging your people to be committed to business rather than just be involved in it. More

We were so impressed with the amount of cars and fair prices we found online at vhcars.com that we decided to take the 30 min drive south to the Plymouth Van Horn to get some face time with a sales perso prices we found online at vhcars.com that we decided to take the 30 min drive south to the Plymouth Van Horn to get some face time with a sales person. Josh DeVriend was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We test drove a few cars but weren't ready to purchase until we did some additional research. Josh understood, and phoned us the next day to follow up. During this phone call he mentioned having a vehicle at a "sister" dealership that met our "wish list" and he would arrange to have it driven to the Plymouth location so we didn't have to make the longer trip to Abrams, Wi. Yay! We test drove our dream car and were sold before the test drive was over. Josh was able to offer a reasonable trade on our current vehicle and set us up with their financing department. After a short amount of time we were handed the keys to our new vehicle! Painless. We highly recommend VanHorn! Thank you for everything! More
I was in the market for a used/newer, I was referred to this dealership thru a co worker who had a great experience. First of all they came and picked me up at my house since my car was out of commission. this dealership thru a co worker who had a great experience. First of all they came and picked me up at my house since my car was out of commission. Tina was extremely nice and friendly and put me at ease (she was also a great driver) When we arrived (about an hour from Plymouth!) she turned me over to Josh who greeted me with a smile, and treated me like a friend right away. Although he was handling about 4 or 5 different transactions, I still felt "taken care of" and that is saying alot for me, especially when my friends call me the queen of customer service. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone, as their service ethic is great, they work as a team to make yo happy, and they make the arduous experience of buying a car a lot more pleasant! Very friendly dealership, that works with all credit types and definitely tries to satisfy every customer that walks through the door. My salesman was working with at least 4 different customers at one types and definitely tries to satisfy every customer that walks through the door.
