First of all, I traveled from out of town to purchase my 4xe. I specifically asked if there were any additional charges on my slightly used vehicle purchase. Alan assured me that there were none. When I got there, I was informed that there was another $4500 of mandatory charges for the theft, nitrogen, car tracking and paint, and that every vehicle sold there had these extra charges applied. Now I can understand on the paint protection and the nitrogen (the argument was that this stuff was already “installed”, but the other two “protections” are overpriced insurance packages that I was basically forced to purchase or walk away. I waited to long for my 4xe so I took them. I can see no reason why unnecessary insurance can’t be canceled, as it is not something “installed” on the vehicle. As for the nitrogen in the tires of a Rubicon that is going to be used for off roading, it was a total waste of $500. I have AAA and don’t need any roadside assistance. People who seriously off-road (like me) deflate and inflate the tires depending on the traction and ride needed. People who sell Rubicons should understand this and not push the dubious advantage of nitrogen in the tires. That said, I love my Rubicon and glad that I was able to locate the vehicle that I wanted with all the options that I needed. I’m just sick and tired of the nickel and diming and hidden charges that come part and parcel with purchasing a vehicle outside of the Costco program, especially when I’m spending close to $80k on a vehicle. Not happy about that part of it, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. More

I had a terrible experience at russel Westbrook not only was my warranty not properly checked and explained to me, they charged me for all diagnostic fees even after he said he would remove some of the only was my warranty not properly checked and explained to me, they charged me for all diagnostic fees even after he said he would remove some of them. I paid for an entire week for a car rental while they kept my car Wednesday through Monday before the diagnostic was even run , (I made an appointment 3 weeks prior to this) then after they ran the diagnostic they call to tell me my warranty covers nothing not even the diagnostic fees. So now I am in a position where I have to pay over 1,000 in diagnostics which I would have never ordered had the warranty been properly checked and explained, plus the repairs plus the week of rental and security deposit for the rental car. I would never take my car here again and will also report this place to better business buero. Even after the manager said he would remove the diagnostic fee of $200 for diagnosing a cracked coolant container which I already told them was cracked and you can clearly see the Crack when the hood is opened. More

I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment to repair my car after it had been diagnosed with Transmission problems. I told the Service Director, I believe his name is Mike, that the car was going to breakdown after it had been diagnosed with Transmission problems. I told the Service Director, I believe his name is Mike, that the car was going to breakdown and stop running before my appointment date. Mike assured me that if my car was unsafe to drive they wouldn’t have released it back to me to. He took my order number down and said he would contact me if I my appointment date could be moved up. He never called and less than a week later I had to call AAA to be towed in to your dealership. Lucky for me I was 2 miles away from the dealership and the AAA driver managed to readjust my transmission cable so I was able to drive it into Russell Westbrook. My appointment was never moved up so I didn’t get my car back for 2. 5 weeks. When it was returned it was unwashed with a painted half circle streek on my windshield. I also had a previous repair for my oil pan gasket. When the car was returned to me 3 weeks later it was unwashed and three day later the transmission trouble, that I have written about in the above paragraphs, began. I received the worst service imaginable. My husband says it is because I have a Official Chrysler Service Warranty and I’m being treated poorly because I am not paying full price! If that is true, I’m outraged! Next repair or oil change will be at the Chrysler Santa Monica dealership NOT Russell Westbrook. We’ll see if my patronage is treated with respect over there. More
