We really liked this car...but, unfortunately, it was in an accident and a total loss. We did not get another car right away. We looked around at other dealers (new and used) and tested other makes and models for about 4 months. We finally returned back to Vann York and decided upon another Accord. Boy, are we glad we did. This 2017 Accord is AWESOME! The drive/ride is excellent and the basic model we bought is very sporty looking. We like the body style as compared to other 2017 sedans from different auto makers. Also, the comfort and new features are a big plus for my family. The best part is working again with Michael Thomas. This is the second car we have purchased from him and he is great. He is knowledgeable and straight forward. Dealing with him is not like your typical car salesman pitch and experience. He gives you time and space to think and accommodates the individual customer. Most importantly - he listens and has answers to all of our questions and concerns about purchasing a new car. We felt very little pressure to do anything other than what we felt was best for our family. We would give more than 5 stars if we could. Alan and Juli Parker More

I ended up making and agreeing to a deal over phone and told the sales manager I would be there in the afternoon to pick it up that I actually lived over a hour away and I had someone doing some work at my house and could not leave yet and he said that was not a problem. Got there in the afternoon to find out they sold the vehicle out from under me with out any concern for me or my time. More

Best Car Buying Experience EVER! I contacted VAnn York Honda because I was frustrated with the dealerships closest to me. The people at VAnn York promised me I'd have the best and easiest car buying experience with me and they WERE RIGHT! My wonderful salesman Michael actually delivered my vehicle to me and showed me all of the features of my new van in my own driveway! He was extremely professional and patient in answering all of my questions. Brandon, Richard and Russel handled the financial part of my deal all over the phone and by text and email which elminated me having to spend that time at the dealership with my children. It was wonderful! Like I said, BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Will never go anywhere else! Thank you folks of VAnn York Honda! More
Price charged was not price quoted I came in twice for service this week -- once to buy new tires, and then to have a new front wheel bearing. So far as I can tell, the work was done well, but both times the price they charged was significantly higher than the price I was quoted beforehand. I had gone to the Van York web site to check on tires and got a written quote. When I called to make an appointment, the service clerk said it was going to be much more. Same thing with the bearing replacement -- they quoted $375 on the phone, but when I went to the cashier it was $40 higher. Be sure to complain if your bill is higher than the original quote! "Let the buyer beware" is always good advice. More

Take Your Business Elsewhere My vehicle was involved in a total loss accident on December 26, 2016. Hence I was obviously in search of a new automobile. Consequently, I visited Vann York Honda on December 28, 2016 in search of a new vehicle. I was welcomed by Mr. Carter (Nick). He took the time to listen to my needs, develop a rapport with my daughter and myself, and work a deal. I was all set to procure a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 as a result of this encounter. I decided to go in a different direction regarding my vehicle purchase after encountering Mr. Mitchell (Marquis). Having said that, I took the liberty in speaking with both my NCSECU and USAA Representatives after taking some time to mull things over on 28 December 2016. Both institutions were extremely satisfied with the transparent pricing (True Car Values), Mr. Carter's outstanding customer service and friendliness, and Mr. Thompson's willingness to provide an equitable sales price for all stakeholders. Nevertheless, both USAA and NCSECU were extremely perturbed in the way that the final sales transaction was handled in dealing with Mr. Mitchell. Having said that, I explained to them that he presented himself to be presumptuous, pompous, and pretentious (in my personal opinion). These sentiments and edicts were predicated in large part due his aggressive and forceful sales tactics, his challenging every statement made by financial representatives and myself, etc. This was further validated in his unwillingness to work with NCSECU to seal the final sale December 28, 2016. My NCSECU Financial Representative informed me that his personal feelings and sentiments were the same after interacting with Mr. Mitchell. What Mr. Mitchell did instead, was to place the onus on me as the customer to seal the deal that was most convenient for him as opposed to practicing practicality and flexibility in finalizing a cash sale with NCSECU. With all of that being said, NCSECU decided to personally handle my new vehicle purchase. What that meant is that they would personally purchase a vehicle for me directly through their certified network of dealers. They would then follow-up in personally having the vehicle delivered to the location of my choice thereby belaying me the hassle of aggressive sales tactics and horrible service as exhibited by Mr. Mitchell on 28 December 2016. NCSECU subsequently located a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 at Crown Honda on December 29, 2016. They subsequently procured and delivered the vehicle to my residence on December 30, 2016. I couldn't be any happier with the car purchase or my continued experiences with NCSECU as they continue to look out for the best interest of their customers and community. It is just a shame that Vann York Honda lost out on a sale due to the actions of one individual (Mr. Mitchell). Having said that, please do yourself a favor and forgo Vann York Honda if you're in search of a new vehicle as you will likely have a horrible experience so long as Mr. Mitchell is employed there. Please do yourself a courtesy and shop with Crown Honda, Stanford Honda, or Burlington Honda. More
