I accepted deliver on my new accord at the Vann York dealership and worked with Don Pannetta. Don was very responsive in keeping me posted on the status of my car. I could never get the interest rate for my new car loan from anyone. After I committed to the purchase I asked Jim Budusky what the rate would be,and told me a business manager would call me back with that from anyone. After I committed to the purchase I asked Jim Budusky what the rate would be,and told me a business manager would call me back with that and after 4 hours Jim called back saying they were so busy that no one could call me but that he thought it would be in the 2s. The day I was going to pick up the car I emailed Chris Thompson about my dissapointment and he still has not contacted me. At signing the rate turned out to be 2.99%, this was a figure Jim mentioned on the first day and it appears that was going to be the rate all along. This was the second car I was purchasing from V Y and I really felt I would have been treated better but I guess they were only concerned with selling another car before the end of the year to get their numbers up. I also have been reviewing the numbers on the documents and I can't get the numbers from Jim's offer to quite add up. I hope to pursue this matter in more detail. More

Shelton Staten is very knowledgable about the cars he sells and also about the customers that he is serving. His approach to working with individuals is to first find out what you need/want and then see sells and also about the customers that he is serving. Sometimes what meets the needs/wants of an individual is something they never even thought about. Shelton listens to what is being said, is professional, patient, respectful and above all he is honest. He is confident about the process he leads you through to buy a car and instills that confidence in you, the customer. I never felt he was trying to sell me something I did not want or that the dealership needed to "push." I will recommend him to others!! I also worked with Woody McDowell regarding financing. He too was professional, friendly, respectful and very helpful. Everyone at Vann York Honda, the other sales consultants, receptionists and others who work there were very helpful and courteous. They all seemed like they wanted to be there!! That is encouraging to me!!!! More
